Iflix got latest episodes ar, nice

iflix HD streaming in Google Chrome browser is just accceptable level. Cons is still no HD for Android app.
But, still nice on PC.

Buy a Android TV Box and watch in TV. It is nice. Not as nice as Netflix or Amazon Prime but acceptable.

Just wish that iflix got a subtitle without the black bar behind it.

I can see why, though won't bother me as much.. App doesn't have an option in its settings to change it?

After watching Netflix & Amazon on 4K, switching to iflix SD is making me eyes bleed
HD content can count by fingers
well, since it's free for me, aint complaining too much

sometime the stream quality is pretty bad as well even for SD content, it seems they don't have sufficient bandwidth since they're giving out free for most TM users

On my Samsung TV Iflix App , the subtitle text background is Opaque, almost transparent.

This sucks.

It shoud be black n white, nice contrast.

but it seem that the background is not an iflix problem then

Everybody prefers this way, except you . It is self adjusting, when the background scene is white, the subtitle background will be just dark enough to still see the text clearly but without the black bar being too black and distracting.

Yup.. I like Netflix's style on Samsung TV.. Clean with no distracting dark background.

Unlike Iflix, Netflix got it's own option to customise subtitles Appearance.

I prefer transparent no background with white font and black font line.

I hate default Google can only set background transparent up to 20% (forgot the actual % but confirm is no setting for 0%) but cannot full 100% transparent (in Android mobile can but not the Android TV). Some apps is depends on Google captions setting, for example Google Play Movies & TV and also iFlix.

I don't own an Android TV OS device as yet.. More options is always good because we all like what we want.. The power of Android, so hopefully in future updates, they'll allow finer customizations to please all.. For now, We just enjoy precise and correct subs..

I cannot accept if subtitle background is 100% black. I will turn off. Lucky at least it still can customize to opaque.

Same here... I don't even want any background between the letters.. Fine with the first option (as per TV app) in my earlier post with examples.

Yup. Agree no background is the best.

Only thick fonts with shadows like Netflix's, will work without accompanying black background.

Iflix uses the poor man's method, plain white text against black background.

iFlix actually using Google captions. You can do changes at Google caption.
