I sideload the iFlix app into my MiBox, been working all along until last month, I observed the UI has changed to Android TV UI (which is great!).
The menu works the movie & drama unable to play.

Anyone else facing the same problem.

I just get the Mi Box last week and I do install the iFlix from the Android TV Playstore since it already have Android TV version and so far it is working perfectly without any issue.

Yup, me too.
Just, not too sure if it's HD or SD, cause can't really differentiate the quality with netflix.
Or maybe just my network issue
*

I believe it is HD but no way near the quality of Netflix. But still far better than Astro Go.

iflix HD streaming in Google Chrome browser is just accceptable level. Cons is still no HD for Android app.
But, still nice on PC. cool2.gif  cool2.gif

Buy a Android TV Box and watch in TV. It is nice. Not as nice as Netflix or Amazon Prime but acceptable.

This sucks.

It shoud be black n white, nice contrast.

Do u know if it is yr tv model problem or something else?

Everybody prefers this way, except you  smile.gif . It is self adjusting, when the background scene is white, the subtitle background will be just dark enough to still see the text clearly but without the black bar being too black and distracting.

Nah fam.. Personal preferences aside.. IMO... This

Is better than ..

And this style is the worst...

Yup.. I like Netflix's style on Samsung TV.. Clean with no distracting dark background.

Unlike Iflix, Netflix got it's own option to customise subtitles Appearance.
*

I prefer transparent no background with white font and black font line.

I hate default Google can only set background transparent up to 20% (forgot the actual % but confirm is no setting for 0%) but cannot full 100% transparent (in Android mobile can but not the Android TV). Some apps is depends on Google captions setting, for example Google Play Movies & TV and also iFlix.

I don't own an Android TV OS device as yet.. More options is always good because we all like what we want.. The power of Android, so hopefully in future updates, they'll allow finer customizations to please all.. For now, We just enjoy precise and correct subs..  smile.gif

I cannot accept if subtitle background is 100% black. I will turn off. Lucky at least it still can customize to opaque.

Same here... I don't even want any background between the letters.. Fine with the first option (as per TV app) in my earlier post with examples.
*
Yup. Agree no background is the best.

Only thick fonts with shadows like Netflix's, will work without accompanying black background.

Iflix uses the poor man's method, plain white text against black background.
*
iFlix actually using Google captions. You can do changes at Google caption.

I'm glad we had this discussion.
Now I'm aware of it and manage to change the setting of background to just 25% opaque. It's better than full black

Glad to know this is helping.
