The shipping date is getting long, it's now 4-5 weeks for Australia and Singapore. Looks like I should just place my order now... thing is, I'm travelling in the next 6 weeks so if it doesn't come in 6 weeks, I'm going to be screwed sad.gif

Everything come for a value.. So what is so great about using a Mac?

3 Points, Straight to the point

==========================================
Number 1:
[Mac user dont need bring charger along]
Apple said it last 10 hours means last 10 hours. Only window users need to bring the heavy adapter, ports and etc and keep on seeking for charging port.
==========================================

Number 2:
[A real Mac user do not bring mouse along]
The mac trackpad could do powerful multitasking job with your fingers. If you use mouse, means you do not fully utilise the trackpad well. I am mass communication students, doing video editing, photo editing, dubbing or anything you can think of it, but i do not use mouse, I only use mouse for DOTA. But you can see, every Windows users will have at least one mouse, because their "pad" are sluggish, its just like a decoration that used up their laptop space.
==========================================

Number 3:
[Mac Users do not Format their Mac]
I am sorry, I cannot even remember how many times I have to format my windows PC/laptop last time. WOOOOHHHH
===========================================

Do not believe all the facts? walk around your university, your college, coffee shop then you will spot the facts.

A laptop should always act as laptop, portable. It should be portable, If huge, big size and ugly, do not call it laptop.

Well, thats just my opinion after using my first MBP since 2011... currently using the 12 inch MAcbook rclxm9.gif

13" are all dual core and no gpu

Nothing Pro about it. 4 USB C that is still useless in 2016 and will continue until it becomes mainstream.

No SD card reader

Price gone up shakehead.gif The highest end mbp 15"
I might as well go get Surface Book i7 at similar price (rm10k) faster and more versatile

Thinner design. Nice. Touch bar. Cool but meh. Apple disappointed me

I see the surface book 2016 and this new macbook 15" hmm iy wasn't like last time where I close my eyes and buy apple because a similar windows product is nowhere close.

But now its not any better than what Microsoft offer

Have anyone sent MBP to authorised centre because of #staingate problems?

Can tell that touchbar version has more buyers as non touchbar availability does not even change.

I'm going to get the 13" baseline non-touch bar, 6 - 8 weeks shipping time was a real long for me. I'm traveling to Osaka this week, would it worth if I get it at apple store there + Apple world travel kit and getting tax refund at airport (or if possible to get it at the store)

The keyboard is quite a bit of turn off for me. The so called - butterfly keyboard make the typing experience is not that solid.

I try macbook 12" before, the keyboard is the same as the new macbook 2016

Many have sent in for replacement. The address is somewhere in this tread, iirc somewhere at the start of this thread.

Through apple's online store is still available. Choose the retina mbp with graphics iris 6100 and choose the 16gb upgrade during checkout. Price is still the same before mbp 2016 released though hmm.gif

I took the consideration between the touchbar, magsafe cable, butterfly keyboard and bunch of converters
I think the touchbar is the least useful... It make me think if I should take the previous design and it save some $$$ as well.

Share with us, how you would see the touchbar be useful in your daily work.
probably after I listen from you, I may reconsider.

I'm also waiting for ppl to share this. We shared the same thought, maybe will take old model. I sold my old mbp in march, 7months no laptop. This update seems not so attractive.
