Can put a FD as pledge for the Cards, if income cannot meet the requirements. The income requirement is now much lower then the original when the card was first launched, RM180k.

That's what many are doing, just put everything on the Cards. Some even put company/business spending on their personal cards.

With the big haircut to convert, both directions, I can't see anyone actually wanting to convert.

For MAS Enrich only, the best is:
1st: HSBC Premier Travel Mastercard. RM1 (overseas spend only) gives 1.1 Enrich
2nd: CIMB Travel Elite Mastercard. RM1 (local and overseas spend) give 1.0 Enrich

For other airlines, e.g. Krisflyer, Asiamiles, etc. other cards such as Maybank or UOB are better.

Currently, I am focused on accumulating Enrich because MAS has a special category of economy class tickets for Enrich redemption which is quite good - typically available if you search several months in advance of travel dates.

HSBC cc has a monthly cap, right?

With hsbc cc, How long do you need to accumulate enrich for you to get your targeted economy class ticket?

Overseas spend, they charge you extra on conversion. Not many people spend in overseas daily. Not practical. Number 1 still CIMB until 31 Dec 2023.

Yes. HSBC Premier Travel Air Miles (1 Air Mile = 1Enrich) awarded are capped at 20,000 Air Miles for overseas spend and 30,000 Air Miles for local spend per calendar month.

The FX conversion rate used has an additional 1% fee built in. That's why some others have commented that it is "expensive". I travel overseas regularly for work and get reimbursed for whatever I actually spend - so the FX conversion rate applied by the credit card is acceptable for me. The CIMB Travel Elite card FX rate on foreign spend is better because it doesn't have this extra 1% fee.

So far this year, I have travelled to Hong Kong economy return costing 25,600 Enrich plus RM348 taxes & fees. Phuket economy return 13,200 Enrich plus RM205 taxes & fees.

For short haul, not worth redeeming business class. And for medium haul daytime flights probably not worth it either, unless your are overflowing with miles.

At the moment, the chain (I think 4 outlets so far) only accepts Priority Pass, Loungekey, Citi, and premium passengers of MH and OD in BKI/KCH.

P/S Hang on, this is Flight Club, which is a sub-brand of PPL. It's a food outlet (similar to the old Green Market). At one point, before Covid, The airside Wellness Spa included a set meal from the Flight Club outlet just outside the Spa entrance. Same group.

I am referring to the new Pay per use Lounge call Travel Club.

Converted 32,000 points and get extra another 3,200 points last week. So total 35,200 pts. The current enrich promo gives extra 10% for conversion till end of this month I think.

Although they mentioned within 10 working days, I get it in 2 days. Am happy.
