BTW, how do I know if funds are correlated? Thanks again.

Get it from Morningstar. A sample is given in the attachment...
Correlation coefficients range from -1 to +1, higher value indicates more positive correlation.

recently read a local article cant remember where, either comparing KGF vs EPF or Amanah Saham. The article said KGF one of the best performing, after minusing the sales charges, management fees, the actual return per year is 8% only? I thought it was higher. Maybe I was wrong all these while

Good day to all, I have started investing in FSM at December 2014 and my current worst fund performance should be on RHB Big Cap China Enterprise Fund. Should I sell this fund amid to China slowdown and enter to CHina related funds again when China shows sign of recovery, or should I continue hold it? Thank you in advance. Cheers.

hmm.gif if you had invested in DEC 2014 on BIG Cap China.....till now you did not lose/gain much.....
so as usual....some would want to hold and some would want to top up and some would want to sell.
In the end, it still depends on which route it would bring more happiness to you.
I would say is, you still need China in your portfolio....
if the % allocated is below 10%...just leave it there
if below 7%,...keep adding slowly till 10%
if > 10%....ask your self why you want so much % in the 1st place....then ask again is your risk appetite still allows it?

there are still some monies to be made whether it is gloomy or not.
ex...
last year most are gloomy on M'sia...yet still got some M'sia performed well
Gold...is still gloomy...yet at times Monies can still be made...like if one were to bought into it last month.

see what FSM says lately about those region for a 3 yrs time frame?
it is indicated by their STAR rating...

Algozen™ is gung-ho on Malaysia again. I am increasing my exposure from 25% to 35%. I use ESISC as proxy to M'sia exposure. (KGF and ESI MyFocus is also good to go)

I am reducing Ponzi 2.0 from 33% to 25%. Ponzi 2.0 is still the best Asia-Pac xJp fund in the FSM universe.

The remaining will be in CIMB-Titan.

Thank you for your reply. My exposure on China (mainly on HK) is quite high, since I'm holding Ponzi 1.0 Ponzi 2.0 and RHB China Big Cap. I have realised that CIMB China equity performs better than RHB Big Cap although the return is also in negative territory. hmm.gif Wonder should have changed to that lol
