My earlier post already said the gift is of lower value. Anyway it is still a gesture from BR. Good one (gesture), no doubt.

Anyway good "eye" to catch this ! In the past I know BR has been buying from some vendors for this gift to depositors. Only this time know where they are buying from. I was told this year they decided to change from hampers to this gift.

Some branch of BR is giving out BC. Have to ask and insist.

lo and behold...late last evening without prior notice, there were a few of BR staff incl. the branch manager who dropped by to hand deliver this to me in my office.

Looked like some Eu Yang Sang thing....

I requested 1 year 4.8% for year FD and they said they will call HQ and told me it should not be a problem. Fingers crossed.

Went in to BSN and open another FD, told them about the monthly interest for 60months, and they said impossible. Told them to check , and reluctantly they call and confirm with other branch and still say upon maturity. Told them again to check with HQ, after 10 minutes they told me it's actually every 6month for 60months tenure only. Gonna Vomit blood.

guys, if FD for short tenure like 3 months 6 months, which is the best bank? lets say 10k

Depends on your prefences. Like some people die die must put Bank A only despite rates not good. Check first page.

I'm a bit doubt on their monthly or even my current 6 month interest, cause it doesn't show in the paper. Let's just wait and see.

- Min 10k placement
- Fresh funds only
- Valid til further notice, no exact date for now.

I consider this is good deal for short term FD.
