Furniture or big items need sea freight as stated at ezbuy prime. The rate exclude home delivery courrier. It will cost more if ur address is far from its its warehouse. Becareful if u r from east malaysia & using sea freight prime
There is self collect option if u hv lorry or big van to save ur home delivery fees.
U may miss out reading this part home delivery.

anybody here using ezbuy prime to buy furniture?
wondering if the service can be trusted.. rm8.8 flat shipping fee, too good to be true.

nothing too big to be shipped. people can buy mattress, 3+2 sofa, etc and no issue. your seller either conning you or malas. just ask for refund and buy elsewhere. not worth dealing.

most sellers wont ship overseas. too much hassle for them. if you are buying to ship here better to find agent like ezbuy or can even use taobaos own agent. then the seller only need to ship to china address, then they no issue to ship.

If this is the first time u taobao, i suggest dont bring in big item first like furniture. Sofa need to assemble yourself, like many other furniture in ikea. Furniture air freight will be very expensive & can more expensive than ur furniture price. 3rd party sea freight is good for furniture that based on cubic/ volume, market around rm400/m3
The official sea freight on taobao via lazada logistic service is based on weight, more expensive than 3rd party sea freight based on volume. Problem with sea freight is items may take a month to arrive. Some agent only allow minimal spending 1 m3, around rm400. Some agent allow small sea freight delivery around rm50/0.1m3, but no home delivery & need to collect at local warehouse or office. Agent told me sea frieght is safe bcoz items moved with forklift & keep in container compare with air freight where items thrown around on conveyor belt & rough handling by our local courier ppl throw in & out from lorry/van. But sea freight also depend on luck. I will usually ask seller or agent to put on extra wood frame to protect the package. So far my items r safe, but sometimes there r some minor scratches or cut, bringing in mirror, tempered glass shower screen, solid wood table, baby cot, chairs, cabinet...

ezbuy is only RM8.8 delivery from China to malaysia. within malaysia not sure, but should be less than RM100.

I prefer to buy direct from seller, cheaper than ezbuy. Ezbuy already mark up the original price to make the false impression delivery charge cheaper. Another reason is i usually like to talk to few sellers myself to campare the quality & customize the item i want. Sometimes seller give discount or free gift if u buy large amount.

true, so kena pandai pandai lah when shopping ezbuy prime. if check it properly then can really benefit from it. i wouldnt buy really expensive stuff though, but smallish stuff i think its really great. like i just bought two cat towers. the price via prime is RM10 more expensive per tower than buying it myself. but better to pay RM18 (membership trial) +RM10-20 (ezbuy markup) +8.8 shipping than buying direct and paying RM150-200+ for shipping the towers (item is ~30kg total).

but yea as you said, they mark up the price kaokao for big items. some things like sofas or beds, cheaper to get it here. plus any issues can also kaotim here.
