Has anyone bought curtain rods from ezbuy/taobao? I was looking at ezbuy and didn't see where we can choose the length of the curtain rod. Is the length standard and maybe adjustable?

I am looking to buy a few rods of different sizes. E.g 10 feet for my living room and 5 feet for my bedrooms.

I bought directly from taobao & ship back via sea freight logistic. It is long time ago. 5 times cheaper than local. It is roman rod, some kina coated metal, bronze color. It comes with standard length & need to cut and joint yourself if too short. U let them know the lenght u want they will give u accessory to joint them. The two ends come with decorative attachment to put on. If u r not handy man, u need to hire ppl or ask ur family member to put on for u.

be mindful that the item price will have 6% tax imposed on it...

So far my purchase via sea or air have not encounter 6%. Usually my purchases <1k

My logistic sea freight dont hv gst, even few thousand worth of items. It is under asiadaigou's 代理, not asiadaigou parent logistic company. I dont know how they work around with it. Parent company hv gst, its 代理 agent dont hv gst

i am referring to taobao sea freight option...not third party forwarder

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the price for curtain rods here is at least 3 times more expensive than taobao
One question: To cut the rod, need special tool like a saw of some sort?
I think my brother could help putting this together, just need to make sure if we need special tools/equipments (other than rotary hammer for drilling).

I ordered curtain rods before. About 3 metres length.Joined by 2 rods. U can direct contact with the seller for customize length then forward ur request to ur agent.
I quite impressed with their service and customization capability. The rods are accurately fit to the space I wanted.
You can request more accessories with extra cost to fit your design.

The official forward service at taobao is more expensive then 代运，logistic agent. There is no additional fees, coz transection directly with taobao seller. Shipment is to logistic agent warehouse address. Sea freight is cubic square, not by weight like official taobao forward service by lazada. I check with my previous sea freight history d, rate will be much higher if all my previous items shipped with taobao official forward service by sea freight (lazada) compare with 3rd party logistic agent sea freight by cubic square.
The one additional charge is 代购, purchasing agent. Usually ppl who lazy to deal with taobao seller or not understand chinese will use purchasing agent. agent help u to pay to taobao seller n u pay to the agent with additional service charge.

Care to share the link for the wood table? What kind of wood? Pine?

New zealand pine wood. This design not good. The metal leg cover the edge of table top is prone to scratch n paint chip off. The table top wood is carved with line to make it looks like joint, but the edge is not carved like what showed in the display photo

anybody here using ezbuy prime to buy furniture?
wondering if the service can be trusted.. rm8.8 flat shipping fee, too good to be true.

only prime account entitle for international shipping fee of 8.80. There is also local delivery charges on top of the 8.80.

yup but 5 days trial only rm18.80, local delivery another Rm8..
still quite cheap wat if you're buying bulty items
