will be going to tokyo from 29 dec to 11 jan .. any nice events or place to visit ?

I read few posts back .. Should i still get the JR railway pass even if i plan to visit somewhere out of tokyo on 1 day trip ? not sure where yet though except for kyoto at the moment.. of course planning to go to disneyland as well.. are there any better pass worth getting ?

I might be planning to get a sim card as well which has data .

sora7777 calculate yourself lar. Go hyperdia or Japan guide and check how much the train ticket costs to the places you wanna go.

Then compare against JR pass price. Then you got your answer.

sure haneda, nearest + cheaper.

Based on this comparison,i would choose Airasia..

1..Haneda...are closed to Tokyo.
2. You save RM200

if it was me..i would ask the timing first
if the haneda is a morning flight and arrive noon...i'd take the ANA no question ask
if both same time night flight...AAX for sure

Haneda timing Suck. Plus RM200 more can sit on ANA B787.
Premium Airline with premium food + 25Kg Luggage free. plus arriving on morning // noon.
Noting beat ANA to Japan. RM1300 best deal!!

Narita Airport got Policy of Noisy Pollution. Even was late flight also must be landing before 10pm.
Japan law on Narita Airport and all inland airport . Airport have to shut down all flying operation after 10pm.

Even ANA arrievd at night also before 10pm. Still plenty of time taking Bus / Train to Tokyo City.
No Pressure at all.

Ana have plenty of flight in one day...
I have not fly with ANA before that why I am asking for opinion here..whether it is good or not

AAX = flight tix
ANA = flight tix + food + 25 KG luggage
your choice to want to include food and/or luggage or not and the total cost is still cheaper/more expensive than ANA
i'd take ANA is the price gap so close

It seems that ana is really a good deal..is actually rm1289 imcluded food and luggage


And reach there around 3pm

reach 3PM...the timing says it all

ANA wins

by estimation u jus need to pay xtra rm100 after the meals n luggage
and can hv more comfortable seat

and ANA air stewerdess
compared to MAS aunty attitude...

MAS service is still great..they maybe auntie but service is there

Thinking of 1st-8th Feb last minute ski n Netflix n chill getaway cos got cheap flight (s$405 return on United) ...

1st feb go nozawa onsen ski for 2 days, visit snow monkey then go Tokyo on the 4th.
4th feb Airbnb room near tsukiji n just chill out and every day eat sushi.
8th feb balik kampung

For this facepalm question, ANA is rated 5 Star and the review is good across the world.

And you get to sit in Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

For luggage, it is actually 23KG X 2 piece.


But then for the direct flight KUL to NRT by ANA, the breakfast served is real light, some may be put off by that.

For this sake, I chosen to depart from SIN with RM200 extra.

I agree, MAS soft product actually still good.

For this kind of thing, I go by "you get what you pay"... Not like many people, sit AK complain, sit MAS also complain, buy ticket buy the lowest fare go argue why cannot change this and that .
