Any guys of u who bought on Thursday got start delivery status?

If it shows unable to flash at beginning it just means is incompatible. If flashing start n break off midway that means your download is incomplete

flashing till 5% and incompatible pop out. All the time this happen when update. DOnt know why malaysia firmware was so so outdated

I bought one (mocha) on last friday afternoon about 4pm. Received notification product is shipped at 4pm today.

That shows your download is incomplete!

may i know for users who bought mate 8 from gemfive, warranty is under huawei malaysia or not??

Guys, why is it on home screen the brightness is ok. But once I open chrome browser, the screen becomes dim ?

Screen recording
This is kinda the best way since i love to record my CoC game play.. .. its made easier now with this and its build in.. no need anymore 3rd party app and no need root

there 3 way available to do this.. give it a try,, the first option is the one i like but need some training to get it right

1. Double knuckle tap


2. Volume up + power


3. use the pull down notification menu in the settings but this one meaning you would need to "edit" the shortcut and choose the "screen recording" feature to be available when required.

The recording also record sound from the mic so you could add your own commentary..

Dual Screen / run 2 app concurrently
This one might not be everyone favorite things but with the 6inch available why not right

2 way doing this
1. Swipe knuckle from left to right (seldomly use)


2. Swipe up from the virtual button using 2 finger (need some getting used to but this is easy once you get the hang of it)


Once you chose your 2 app.. you could move the slider to select size appropriate.. i Know android N will have this but why bother when its already available now.

So guys.. give it a try.. will post more tricks if i found anything good to share more

but the color options only for 32gb/3gb ram....maxis definitely gave the wrong info..
