and my surprise my sim i manually cutting didnt fit..
this mean i cut it wrongly and use at my LG v10
so need to go celcom later then,..
LG v10 will be my wife phone for now

just finished updated latest firmware , u guys can download from the link below,

create a dload folder and then extract the zip file and copy into dload folder.

After that power off your phone and press volume up + power together. the installation will begin itself

I am not sure, but try go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Location Access
check if you have enable the feature

or

Settings > Apps > Maps > Permissions
Make sure you enable "Your location"

The apps permissions didnt auto tick The 'My location'..

now problem is cannot get back My previous Id.. but nvm, created another one..

Coming from s6 edge this mate 8 battery life is definitely superb. Unplug charging at 93% now 74% with 1 hour 44 min screen on time. (Heavily WhatsApp YouTube and browsing) no regretz

Having the mate 8 for half a day, lighter then I expect, the screen protector prone to attract finger prints...still exploring the device ...

Came out from.box warranty end may 2017

I found out that its almost impossible to use the fingerprint scanner with the flip casing that comes with this phone.

U need to open the cover then only scan ur finger. Right hand ok. If left hand impossible.

Only suitable for normal back casing....

Front scanner is still more practical for flip casing

Yeap. But with the casing flipped to the back, its a hassle to unlock the phone

i just checked via hicare app. my warranty is until 12th march 2017... not fair leh!

i have ordered the hard shell case.
dislike the flip case, especially for this one, since you cannot see the notification light anymore
