The close to bexel less display is really attractive
With Mate S at rm 2.6+k, I believed this phone will hit close to rm3k when available here!!

IMHO, Huawei Mate series is going to flagship level like Galaxy Note and iPhone level

Of all the 6 inches phone I had used past 2 years the Mate7 remains one of my favorite besides the OPPO R7+. I would still highly recommend the Mate7 to those looking for a 6 inch display phone

rclxms.gif  Uncle Benny is the great fan for Huawei Mate Series...

I am considering to get it from taobao, cheaper but more risky..
*
Yes my experience with HW Mate 6.1 n Mate7 has been very good. Till now I would still highly recommend Mate7 as one of the best 6 incher I had used. The other is Oppo R7+. Valuebasket is very reliable trustworthy site n offer 2 year warranty too.

Above is a good site to read user review of the phone
As in any phone there are bound to be both positive n negative comments. I read these for info only n will never allow these comments to affect my buying decision

For me,if Huawei Malaysia can improve their frequency of updates just like China or Europe set than this will be a very good flagship phone...
*
Very true. That is why I always flash the latest Euro versions on all my previous HW phones. Those Euro/China sets could have 5-6 updates already while the M'sian version usually stays the same or at most only one update

P8max I used mainly to read ebook n watch movies. It had basically replaced my ipad mini3 which now lying idle several months already
I will decide whether to use the Mate8 or LG V10 as main phone.

1 million units sold in first month ?

Uncle Benny,

If lets say i get a China set of Mate 8, will it be any difference/difficulties using it in Malaysia?

Thanks.
*
Absolutely no problems
My P8Max is China source set. You just need to download playstore n those google app you need from HW app store
3G/H+ n LTE is perfectly fine

uncle benny, how much do u reckon the Mate 8 will be priced locally once it reaches here?
*
Mate S is already rm2.6k. So I guess around rm2.8-3.0k ?? With ringgit continually depreciating pricing could get worse. I got mine for rm2.9k

but funny thing, in vmall china, Mate 8 is retailed cheaper than Mate S. weird.

http://www.vmall.com/

since, my friend is in guangzhou now, i am contemplating if i should wait or not, coz if based on huawei online site, Mate 8 is suppose to be cheaper than Mate S. hmmmmm. rclxub.gif

and RMB3699 is about RM2.5k+ only.
*
Is that the 4gb ram/64 gb model ?
I seriously doubt Msian prices can be lower than China prices

QUOTE(Gouki @ Jan 14 2016, 10:54 AM)
So NXT-AL10 supports all bands in malaysia and worldwide right?
*
Mate 8 is only phone that has widest support of all major bands in the world
Msian bands are common n so no worry
You can check their LTE band support n Msian bands are listed
I had no idea what model i am getting as not specified. I will only be recieving the phone next week
As valuebasket is Spore site i am sure they will bring in only compatible set. I can always return n get a refund if it is incompatible
They give a 2 year warranty coverage too
