im currently on 7.0.11,but cannot install version 7.0.12 manually via updater, it says 'update.zip signature verification failed'. i download the link given in 1st page. 

Mine can update using 1st page link. Update from 7.0.11.0 also. And just now i do OTA update......weird, still got 7.0.12.0 update . Update successful, reboot and still got google play service not responding error.....annoying     but everything seem working fine

How u update? Using which method?

Download the ROM from the internet then create a folder in your File Explorer called "downloaded_rom"
Place the zip file in there.

Then in the System Update page, click on the Options button at the top right and select 'Choose Update Package' and select the downloaded zip file you pasted into the "downloaded_rom" folder. Then it will automatically reboot and updates the rom.

If you really need a decent camera, I suggest you Mi4i lah. Easily one of the best camera out there for the price tag.
It has extremely capable Sony's 2014 flagship IMX214 sensor (the same sensor found in Mi Note, Mi4, Oppo Find 7, One Plus One...etc) with matured algorithm by Xiaomi.

I, myself find Mi4i did excels in camera department. In fact, camera is Mi4i's highlight.
Even outshines Mi4 especially in low-light with its true dual-tone flash.
But Mi4i, like any other Mi series has no micro sd slot, so 32GB is the only option for you if you need huge space.

I'm not sure which sensor Redmi Note 2 is using, but I know Redmi Note 4G and Meizu M2 note are using mid-tier Samsung BSI sensor. If I'm not mistaken, Redmi devices never had Sony made sensor for its rear facing camera. Only Mi flagship series gets it.

Hi pac1 , the picture quality is just slightly less better than the Meizu. For general photo shoot , it's still OK. You should check out the Xiaomi mi4 if you insist on good photo shoot. Now the price had gone down.
