I give up, has ben try to get custom recovery install to fix my sd card write permission but cannot get it done.

try recovery way and fast boot also does not allow me to do so.

ok, I manage to update manually to 7.0.12.0 using updater- using update from downloaded_rom folder method...now the updater detect an update and donwloading...not going to stop it...hopefully can have better battery performance..

yesterday I only got 16 hours from the battery with only 3h 50m SOT....

Global rom dev, after research found out is not pre root for global dev rom
Too tired to just get a simple fix for sd card access, kinda ridiculous as this suppose to be part of lolipop function but it just do not work

What were you trying to do with your sd card anyway? For me I just dump media files and apks on it.

Used to use my apps like quick pic, es explorer, mxplayer to delete/edit/transfer/download files
With the restriction, these function locked cuz i nvr saved it to internal memories sad.gif

That shouldn't be a problem. What's the spec of your card? I am using 64GB CL 10 without any issue. May be you can try to format the card into FAT32. Backup your files using pc 1st, after format move files back to the card and try with your phone again.

Just show task fail where it suppose to bring me to the screen to select sd card root like my zenfone

Btw my card is strotium 32gb class 10

guys, deciding between RN2 or RN2 Prime...

for RM70 diff between those 2.. does Prime really worth the extra RM70?

If you install a lot of apps, please go for prime as not all app can be install to sd card
