2016 model already 400k km , the car using as business? if the gearbox still ok better leave it alone , just service it using diaqueen or proton trans gear oil.

2008 make car. Bought in 2016 second hand. And yes it was a company car driven by one of its staff everyday from Serdang > KL. Heavy mileage car. But really no problems with the gearbox whatsoever, still gear shifts like a dream tongue.gif

But I keep thinking since its so high mileage, whether I should take precaution and do it or not sweat.gif

Thanks @ZenGTMM. Any idea how much that is? Or perhaps any good shop to recommend? KL, Puchong, USJ area am fine.

Should be around RM180 for the sensor.. installation labor RM30+-.. Highly recommend to get Mitsubishi original part or Proton ori part as crank sensor is a very important component, if it fails while u are driving ur engine will die off instantly and fail to restart depending on the severity of the faulty sensor.

You can drop by here, search this address on GMaps. 17, Jalan PJS 11/8, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Bawah pokok workshop, but reliable and does a good job at reasonable price. Forgot whats the shop name, but its one of the 2 workshops there. The one on the left is a Peugeot car specialist. Go to the right one.

I bought in 2016 second hand persona with 400k km+ mileage. For the past two years I've racked up nearly 50K km mileage. But the auto gearbox still going strong, no problems whatsoever.

1k kind of heavy on my pocket  cry.gif
*
wow 400k km is taxi mileage. Yeah even my car never broke down even once. Only issue I had was slight leak on rocker cover gasket. I recently did some major parts change for my whole car which cost me around RM1.6k. Changing all kinds of bushes left right centre.

If gear doesnt jerk when entering or ur engine doesnt slip gear when shifting then its allright. Telltale signs of repairs is when reversing u hear a loud whining noise or if the gear slips and engine rpm will jump a bit before engaging next gear.

Recently a lot of sound come out from the dashboard, really mad~ vmad.gif

1) check near steering wheel, dashboard panel at lower down there, must put something to prevent rattling
2) at the top centre, open the grey cover there, put sponge inside there

Hey guys, i owned a 2008 persona 1.6 auto highline.
Plan to change 4 piece of absorber soon.
I'm looking at KYB gas type absorber, and thinking to change the front absorber mounting as well.
Not sure anything else i should change it together like bush or other rubber part?

10 years, suggest changing front lower arm too. The bushes will most likely have worn out.
Engine mounting and lower arm get schmaco brand from lazada.. Cheap and very good. 2x Strut mounting for RM97.50 and 2x Lower arm for RM200.
Would suggest to avoid KYB, personal experience its softer than ori shocks making the car more floaty over uneven roads. Suggested to get Monroe if u want stock comfort level, or Proride Performance (Yellow color) for +20-30% harder.

More like no money to change car.. hahahaha. Actually i was planning to upgrade but most of the new gen cars are too heavy and doesnt handle as well as my persona.

bro,

after I bought my high mileage hero Persona. I knew before hand the suspension is already quite messed up and making noises. So I brought it to a workshop nearby my house at the time...he changed the lower arms + shock absorbers etc. The brand is SACHS.

Absolutely right bro, I think those racing & performance shocks/ suspension is really really very stiff. When I go through bumpy roads or even highways at a high speed (low speed bumpy roads need to jaga also la, steering goyang like sh1t), the car floats and wobbles easily even if its a small hole. With that being said, driving at a high speed especially need to pegang and hold the steering properly. If not car sure fly to one side mega_shok.gif

For casual driving to&back from work it really sucks. But go North South highway when its empty mmg syiok la.

At the time I thought aftermarket brand will be better, but really regret. Its not even cheap! Now wanna change to stock or the Monroe brand also cannot since wallet doesn't permit. Already wasted a lot of money on the car so won't do it anymore
