QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Sep 11 2016, 11:33 AM) I'm currently using 1st gen MotoG... looking for an upgrade (beefier specs with small size). These 2 phones have similar specs to my MotoG. Sigh. QUOTE(Jeff_lwh @ Sep 11 2016, 11:53 AM) Yup, you should really consider the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. It's the best compact phone at the moment. 4.6" screen size is not that big and it's still compact enough even if you have small hands, you should try it in the stores to know whether if it suits you.

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Sep 10 2016, 10:41 AM) For Pokemon Go, is having gyroscope sensor (AR mode) important to you? As long as the game is playable. Thanks.

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Sep 12 2016, 07:43 AM) I find MotoG (and the Xperia Compact) too big for me Tough luck then, there's only the iPhone SE that has good specs in a compact size. When it comes to Android, there are only low end phones that have below 4.3" screen size.

I believe the Samsung S7 Edge is better because is water and dust resistant, and has withstood over 7 hours underwater in tests. This is a major advantage over an iPhone, which can short circuit if dropped in water.

1. Brand: Anything 2. Budget. 500 to 700 3. Specs. Looking to replace my father's old phone. He doesn't have a lot of requirements, just a decent camera is good 4. Type/Size. Android 5 to 5.5 inch.
I am considering the Xiaomi Mi4i which is selling for about RM 550 on Lazada. And they are offering a RM 75 discount too. So in total it is only RM 475. Should I get this or wait for the Redmi 3s (RM 599) or should I get other models?
Thanks a lot!

Xiaomi Mi 4i is a big no, it's problematic. My recommendations would be... Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (16GB) - Price reduced for Malaysia Day http://www.lazada.com.my/xiaomi-redmi-note...ld-9230258.htmlAlcatel Flash Plus 2 (32GB) Xiaomi Redmi 3S

If u don't believe try asking Lazada themselves or Mi Malaysia. I never recommend AP phones. This post has been edited by xperiaDROID: Sep 15 2016, 06:21 PM
