1. Brand: Anything

2. Budget : 600 to 850

3. Specs : Gonna use it as a second phone, mainly for Uber, so I kinda need the stability (no known bootloop issue), Youtube, downloading videos to phone or stuff like that. Camera and sound aren't my priority.

4. Type/Size : Android 5 to 5.5 inch.

Also, the one with a good drop-proof (I won't expect much, but at least..)
I don't need big phone as I may find it hard to operate with 1 hand.

It's a good phone for the price.

Good:
Good battery life
Good speaker
Decent camera
Decent performance
Software is stable
Signal reception is good

Bad:
No USB OTG support
No gyroscope sensor for VR
Storage is 16GB but there's 10GB left out of the box cuz some are used up by the system (can be solved with SD card)
Auto focus doesn't seem to work when recording video

I am considering getting a new phone with larger storage than my current 16GB phone.

Brand: Any brand which frequent update the firmware.
Budget: <= RM1500.
OS: Android with at least version 6.x Marshmallow
Storage: Prefer 64GB. Minimum 32GB. The larger, the better. Must have Micro SD slot.
Type/Size: Don't care.

Htc 10 and Samsug S7 non edge, putting the camera quality aside. Which would be better for heavy usage including gaming on phones ? Will both the phones last 2-3 hrs without lagging issues ?

Samsung Galaxy S7 would be the better phone for heavy usage, since it has better battery life than the HTC 10. As for lagging issues, both phones are powerful enough so no worries.

Does the phone battery differs significantly? From what I've read, tests shows that Samsung consumes 9%\hr on video with same brightness while htc consumes 11% . Is it cuz of htcs subwoofer ?

The subwoofers wouldn't affect it too much. It's more to optimization.

Amidst quite some heat on Samsung over the Note 7 explosion..... maybe you might want to go with the HTC One 10, but it depends tho.

Don't think there will be any link between s7 and note 7 ba. But that really affect their sales a lot .

That's why I said that depends on the situation. With that being said, maybe you might want to avoid overheating it too much if you go with the S7. Just as an advice.
