When it comes to Android nowadays, phones that have 4.3" screen or below are mostly low end.

The best one would be Sony Xperia Z1 Compact which is from 2014, but it's hard to find now cuz it's already obsolete.

If you're okay with low end...

Lenovo A1000
Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace

I'm currently using 1st gen MotoG... looking for an upgrade (beefier specs with small size). These 2 phones have similar specs to my MotoG. Sigh.

Yup, you should really consider the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. It's the best compact phone at the moment.

4.6" screen size is not that big and it's still compact enough even if you have small hands, you should try it in the stores to know whether if it suits you.

I find MotoG (and the Xperia Compact) too big for me sad.gif

1. Xperia XZ2 compact (AP)
2. Google Pixel 2 (AP)

You might want to choose based on dimension instead of screen size. Newer phone has bigger screen to body ratio.

Can't find those 2 anymore.
I want small phone. Love iPhone 3.5" but nobody makes a small phone anymore. I know newer phone has better ratio. Hence my max limit of 5".

You can still buy those 2 online. Most shop don't sell them anyways since they are AP sets.

Since you familiar with iPhone, just go for iPhone 7 or 8 for small display.

prefer something that's cheap = <RM300.
i'm not iSheep. i am fine with any OS.

recommend me a phone with voice-data switch. that means when i'm on USB tethering or using internet, the voice call should be totally disconnected as i don't want a phone call to ruin my internet.

Then need top up for Lenovo/Samsung Lineup.

Otherwise would be cap ayam China. U use for what purpose

To control smart home devices and occassional gaming that needs gyro input. GPU ability is not needed. It's the sensor that i need as it is linked to PC for sensor input.
