Am sure they do. All are welcomed to apply. I don't think they are that nasty to exclude just because they don't come from reputable universities, but I guess the candidate pool has lots of interesting applicants.

Maybe do something that somewhat stands out (e.g. Semi Finalist of some case study competition, dean's list, top 10 scorer of a subject in uni, uni representative for team sports). Alternatively, bring in the right attitude that fits with the firm's values, that's how the ACCA grads stood out.

Again that was based on what I have gotten from my alumni and ex-colleagues of PwC. Everyone's experience may differ.

It's been close to two week since I got a phone interview from EY. But I have yet to receive any follow up call or e-mail. Is this the normal time period? Or should I follow up by myself? @@

Don't worry just call them! I waited for one week after the phone interview and then start calling once every week. It took about two to three weeks for them to get back to me.

Helloooo. Honestly they are the first one that gets back to me among all Big 4. It was like 1-2 weeks after the submission when I receive my phone interview. After that they kinda slowed down, took them 2 weeks+ to get back to me to arrange for a face-to-face interview. The interview date would then depend on the availability of slots and your own free time.

I got several telephone interview from EY already over 3-4 weeks, but somehow they need me to submit my documents again. My planned starting date is 1 August.

For PwC I was informed that their August intake is fulled already, therefore the next one would be September. I only got an email from them stating that they are reviewing my resume currently.

hey, they reply through email to me. there 2 version of the email where one is to regret you and another would be stating that you being shortlisted. my friend had a call before she receive the email and arrange for the interview where my case is that i got the email but not the call yet after almost 2 week? . my advise is to give them a call and ask what the status on ur application. i called 3 days and i think they must be pretty busy to pick up any call.
