If you're aiming to go to SG big 4.. Start applying early. That will give you time to apply 2-3 rounds before your planned move date and will give you time to look for other opportunities. Would be good if you have contacts within that can refer you in as well..

It's never easy for tax professionals to move to the big 4 unless you have good achievements in your resume imho

Thanks for the heads up. Im in msia for another one year at least. Will bear that in mind when i apply. Currently looking to be involved in tp or advisory work for better cv before making the move

It's a trade-off. There's a high chance that the SG big4 will offer you a rank that's 1-2 lower hence it's better to move early before you start earning too much and feel the pain when your pay drops down again. But on the other hand a better resume, better work experience will lead to higher chances at getting a job in SG. That's why I recommend applying as early as possible.

Sadly it's a bad year for job-hunting though (what with the slow economy and all) but it's a good time to brush up on your resume and practice your interview skills in preparation for when the economy picks up.

Hey guys. Have you all heard of cimb fusion pwc? I tried finding for more info about it on the forum but I couldn't find much. So if anyone could help shed some light, it'll be much appreciated.

I heard the intake is by batch and I found the application deadline is in March but when will I start work? As I'm still studying for my last semester and earliest I can start work is in June.

I heard it's only applicable for UK grads. Is this true?

Thanks smile.gif

yawn.gif  had a boring interview with a fresh grad candidate.

Her voice is so soft until i have to ask her to speak louder.

Note to others: Do some research on big 4 before going for interview.

Hey! Could you perhaps share a few things that you would generally expect from the candidate during the interview? biggrin.gif thanks

I know someone from Penang who tried to apply for a job at big 4 there but couldn't find. But he got a job in big4 kl. So you should definitely try to apply in kl. Good luck!

Guys, anyone apply training program at PwC before?
Will ask about audit standard, accounting standard or what others?

Except PwC, have any others firm provide same program for diploma student?
Appreciate if someone could reply me on this.

Thank in advance. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Do all Big 4 has a recruitment policy like if you not able to pass the interview or any test, they will screen you out for the next 1 year or so and encourage you to reapply again after 1 year?

Can I have specific details on all Big 4?

Thanks.

rolleyes.gif confident. When people ask you about A please answer A not from B to Z but still no answer for A.
