QUOTE(themightywong @ May 31 2016, 02:46 PM) HEy guys, anyone got into big4 with low cgpa ? in uni my co-curiculum activities is rather impressive but the result wise is slighty affected. It is possible, a guy with cpga lower than 3.0 get into one of the big4 (not to mention which one). But initially he was not being shortlisted for the interview. I heard pipu said he keep calling the HR to convince them to give him an interview opportunity. and boom! He succeed. FYI, he is very active in co-cur and accounting club, the HR in big4 and mid tier firms know him.just wondering anyone got accepted. btw my cgpa is 2.3 i just applied pwc yesterday. not placing too much hope tho Pwc is hard, they have too many applicants. Aim other firms, and call them daily to kacau until they feel ur passion. |

QUOTE(ThanatosSwiftfire @ Sep 28 2016, 12:28 PM) Direct application as fresh grad is very very tough as big 4 in singapore have a policy of hiring their local big 3 uni first (nus ntu smu), then singaporeans from oversea uni, and thdn.only us. I heard from friends said the same thing also. Hiring rate has been bad recently. I received an email from 1 of the big4 sg to provide additional information and now waiting for news. Wondering how long they take to process a job application. Should I email them to ask for outcome like weekly basis? I afraid later too despo then sked them.off.Source. I was a former big4 manager in sg, and hr tell me its their policy to hire local first. I was trying to get an.opening from a relative, but failed. QUOTE(ThanatosSwiftfire @ Oct 10 2016, 11:57 AM) Never read thread isit. I dunno say how many times liao, big 4 in singapore hire their local graduates and singaporeans first. In this kind of economy, are you from harvard or oxford or LSE? If not, dun.bother. find a job in malaysia big 4 and go over after 2 years experience. Halo, may i know how many partners they have in FS pwc?Same pay. Ex pwc here. Bro oso in pwc. Lul. |

Anyone joining pwc FS assurance recently? who's going to be the interviewer for experienced hires? Are their assessments more towards technical knowledge?
