No way u can get 189/190 with your current situation. Trust me. Please read the skill assessment 1st. My wife is chartered accountant but she's not using her pro as primary applicants as is much harder. so using mine as primary coz my professional requirement is lower.

Point contribution on experience:-

Aust:-
1 year = 5 points
3 years = 10 points
5 years = 15 points

Overseas:-
3 years = 5 points
5 years = 10 points
8 years = 15 points

My case is i claimed 15 points based on my malaysia working experience which is 9 years.

I'm not trying to pour you cold water but you're unlikely to get any visa approval. My advice is get as many working experience as possible. Don't worry, the point system and requirement always change. Plenty of chance to apply.

Let say if I turn the scenario around. If one who is a fresh graduate and he/she secures a job offer in Oz (let say graduated from Monash Malaysia in this case). Can he/she obtain a visa ? Thanks.

You can consider taking PTE test instead. It's easier to score. IELTS is very inconsistent in it's grading system.

For that to happen, the company will be preparing a working visa for that person. Now the question back to you is, since you are an overseas fresh grad with 0 experience and unproven, why would an OZ company hire you compared to a local fresh grad?

Sorry for being so straightforward. Need some harsh questions sometimes.

Let say if I manage to get local Oz connection to get hired over there. If that's the case, is it still possible ? May I ask under which work visa category I can apply for ? Thanks.

The company will apply on your behalf a visa 457, which they have to justify strongly on the reason why they can't find a local hire.

Unless the company is chinaman, they will probably ask you to apply yourself a 489 visa before they will hire you. All in all, visa first then job later, that's the most common route

Note: If something looks too good to be true, please consult others for opinions.

If I go under visa 457, can Border still reject my application ? Thanks for the advice.

Thanks, I'll look into that!!

On a side note, I think we Malaysians (assuming everyone here are Malaysians), really lack the ability to encourage people and be constructive as much as wanting to throw cold hard facts.. Speaking of which I have also met people who got IELTS all Band 9 on the first try.. Ever heard of confirmation bias? Google it up... Perhaps your perception on how you view other matters in life would change. Of course just my 2 cents.

Cheers.

Yeah that's what I heard also from my tutor previously. They rotate every week and make one module harder than the rest.

I got the lowest in my reading are, hahaha. Got damn lazy, got to sleepy. Highest was listening. Overall I got an 8.5, sat for it once Then again, I've only spoken English at home and learnt BM when I went to primary school. Can't speak any other language fluently enough. My parents/ grandparents speak English so from a linguistic point it's considered a first language for me.
