Points checking is likely first stage, where agent checks for you and sees what needs to be done- IELTS, Skills assessment etc.Depends on the SOL la. What is your nominated occupation? Some take longer than others, as quotas fill up really quickly. But 1 July it was all refreshed so reset again lah. |

But my visa is state sponsored by South Aus hahaha. Yea, the photos they used in the UTAS brochure was enough for me to go 'wow'. However I overlooked how cold it was. And the uni fees Then my parents saw unis in WA and were like eh cheaper! Plane ticket also cheaper haha. |

At the time I was doing my assessment it was less, but by the time I applied I had racked up about 7 years as opposed to 5 years of job experience haha. cold yes, i love cold bad thing is you need to take expensive internal flight to Tasmania There was something else, I can't remember. The initial meet up with the agent was in September 2013. I took my time also. Told them I wasn't in a rush. Turned out to be a good thing for me, as I was initially told that my SOL was on NSW's list; NSW was only doing paper applications (damn old skool) until recently. Lucky for me SA opened up, and with less issues and all paperless. Too easy |

Too easy when i was doing my meds, had a chat with one of the parents whose daughter was going to melbourne for tiertiery, they said SA opened up and its very easy to get sponsorship... good news but i had enough points and my EOI was accepted in 2 days, what luck |

Which was GOOD! So even though some silly lady in VETASSESS messed up my assessment the first time, it was a blessing in disguise.when i was doing my meds, had a chat with one of the parents whose daughter was going to melbourne for tiertiery, they said SA opened up and its very easy to get sponsorship... good news but i had enough points and my EOI was accepted in 2 days, what luck |
