Here's a reference of a 1.3 (lightly ported and fully polished) Throttle body and a 1.6 (Ported and semi polished) Throttle body. The 1.6 TB can be ported to a maximum of 67mm if I still remember the figures correctly. Also on the side of the TB where the black plastic cover, you can open it up and clean the contact grid and do some minor adjustment to butterfly valve. The adjustment is similar to adjusting the pedal copper contact grid. I won't recommend those who are new to DIY open the plastic cover.
Just some extra information, CPS Throttle body is different from IAFM+ so are they compatible to our non CPS engine...this I'm not sure but Persona TB will fit our saga without any issue.
Happy modding.
one question, using a bigger totobody and totobody spacer; does it give a near similar effect? cause iinm the spacer is to increase amount of air going in from butterfly valve onwards right?
Just changed to the 1.6 TB. Using stock 1.6 mouth right now, no port and polish nothing cause can't wait to try already.
My initial first impression was, holy fak davidke20 is right. I noticed a notable increase in lag for the throttle response. But nothing too significant. But can feel the torque a bit earlier. Pedal also a bit lighter liao. Don't know placebo effect or what. Probably is.
Easy mod. Even plasti dipping my front grill also takes longer.

at least u plasti dip the grill, if do mistake can remove. i berani mati terus spray using the normal spray can haha
there are a few 1.3 saga with 1.6 totobodi and one of them is quite close to you.
Your answer pretty close, and I know the close person just sit 1 row infront of my desk. But the most correct answer lies below

My gaga needs to replace 2 pieces of donut due to side wall crack and pregnant. Am looking at Falken ZE-914. Anyone knows where in klang valley can find a shop with reasonable price? Donut is 195/50/15.

The lag wasn't really a LAG, it's just that the huge TOTO given too much air and the fuel mapping can't cope up with the change. You can try turn key to ACC + ON without waiting for the fuel pump activation TIT sound from the back, press gas pedal to metal and hold, let the toto position calibrate by itself. After that don't start, shut it back off. Wait for few seconds then restart your engine. Hopefully this will do some magic(well, it didn't work for me )
For the record, this 1.6 totobodi mod very suitable with 4-1 extractor. 1 way you maintain a huge amount of top end by having larger air intake, you'll also able to make use of 4-1 extractor to make quick evacuation and create vacuum suction to prelift your valves on lowend RPM. Ultimately, you'll need a fuel regulator to expand more on your high RPM. Otherwise not only no power gain, it may cause you run lean without knowing it.

Totally different thing Big toto allowed fast and more air flow. The spacer is just 1 extra spacer to allow you buffer more air IN the intake manifold. Theoretically, space will make you gain some edge on the low end rpm due to IAFM modulated airflow for longer pass to counter torque dip. With a spacer, you allowed the IAFM to go further to gain access to atmosphere, so your low end will be running richer. On high end...
Seriously, I don't know where the theory came from when people came up with all sort of dyno results that claims their car after add spacer gain 1 horse powah. Professionals N/A engine tuners doing all their best to cut short their intake manifold just to gain 5~10whp on high RPM. Our Kampro IAFM uses the multi channel intake module to shorten the intake funnel at 4krpm just to maintain maximum power output. I can't brain how a longer/further intake will make them gain power
Before and after spacer installation, on dyno test. Take note, we're talking about reputable brand, the Sentra SER angmo spec on test is running on an XTRAIL 2.5 engine

Keep moding guys
I see. i actually thought it worked in a similar fashion. since talking about tb, i'll open mine and clean it esok, since saturday nothing to do XD
haha, why of all cars, show 4age blacktop.. already got 1 here, friend's car. 4throttle for that engine also 1.4k and above easily.. another friend selling it off..

4 toto is the shortest intake 1 can ever had. The best toto that I once owned was a set of Mikuni 4 barrel tookout from superbaik. Out of all the engines, on stock form came with 4 toto has only very little. Either a 20v beraktop? Or an SR20VE. I'm so sorry I can't think of any more convenience example for now.
Should you still be interested to see how alternate solution happened to 4G15
And 4 toto stock form SR20VE

I've seen the neo vvl videos before, but that 4 throttle on the saga is an eye opener haha. mikuni still doing good now, even for all kinds of motors. yea true, not many stock engines come with 4throttle. the one my friend selling also open from tofu car haha.
