seem underpaid with 9 yrs exp .. have u considered upgrade to degree?

I'm from science background. Now 32, baru hit 7k and this is already my 5th job. Imagine my colleague who stayed at the same company, i wonder what are they getting. The only positive point was i got some good incentives while working as a pharma rep.

Usually with sales commission, what are you nett monthly ?

sales process usually take 3-6 months so not every month got commission

commission usually 3k-4k in every 6 months..

Woah guys, seriously? You are all very rich! Current O&G scene also very bad. Especially local companies, now mostly take advantage oni.

5-7 years in O&G construction, as permanent, easily 8k previously. Now if you get 6.5k consider lucky af aredi. While contract workers who used to gain 12k+ now most cases with 1yr contract only get 8k at most.

For >10 yrs of O&G exp, there’s no consistency on payouts. Some ok some suam suam oni. Based on “who you know” shayt summore.

i think O&G will pick up real soon. look at the O&G counters at bursa recently they are showing signs of reviving

I agree, the price need to hit somewhere around $100 to be handsome again. But still, knowing Malaysia, this new trend of adjusted salary will become new noms for the industry. For sure you won’t be as rich la.

erm 830 till 630 7 depends... but im always on standby cause my boss will call me to send her stuff after work. depends on the urgency of the work. for tax, there is no requirement for pro paper to be completed. unless you are in audit... im 26 in 2017.

The management is kinda shitty (Chinese boss, known for kiamsiap) and benefit is also shitty (super low mileage claim) but my job scope is super fun and interesting. Its hard to find another local company that can do such big scale of network implementations.

severely underpaid... sounds more like volunteer job to me, eg. u enjoy the work, and u dont care about compensation..

Yup, I was quite frustrated when it comes to wages and benefits. Like what you guys said, volunteer job. My boss says engineers with wages of RM2k above do not entitled with OT pay lol wtf? Its totally based on company and I am unfortunate enough to be in this company which "follows" the employment act to avoid "extra expenses".
But I don't think there is another company which can offer me job scope like this already. As a fresh I think I put experience first.
Any System Integrator (SI) companies around to intro?
