Job Title : Software developer
Years spent in company : 0 Company : local/mnc Industry : IT Tenure : permanent Employment Level : Junior Experience before joining : 2 Highest paper qualification/ education background : degree in software engineering salary : RM 4100 Location: PJ Recently accepted an offer for that pay. Previous salary was RM3600 + 200 allowance. Decided to jump ship with a I'm-not-sure-if-it's-lowball offer due to bad work environment, lack of learning opportunity, and stagnant career progression in previous company. My current salary progression is 2500 -> 3000 -> 3600 -> 4100. What's my standing in the current job market? Overpaid? Underpaid? Market rate? |

QUOTE(strategist @ Nov 25 2016, 08:53 AM) LOL its quite obvious what firm you are referring to. Doesn't all their fresh graduates has a standard pay rate of ~RM3.6k ? I guess its different for their IT department I was from that firm too. Only manage to hit 3.6k after a 20% salary adjustment AND 20% increment. |

QUOTE(febreze2xxx @ Jan 31 2017, 11:50 AM) Job Title : Senior Human Resource Executive 6 years. Should be a reasonable expectation imo.Job Description : Generalist (currently focus on payroll and compensation & benefit) Years spent in company : 6 years (Same Company upgraded from clerical up to current position) Industry : Insurance Tenure : Permanent Employment Level : Sr Executive Experience before joining : 0 years Highest paper qualification/ education background : Degree Salary : RM3.3k Location: Klang Valley I'm 28 this year and thinking of starting a family. But I feel my pay quite low to start one. Currently job hunting and asking for RM 5K. Is it ok or should I lower the expectation? So demotivated right now.
Salary increment for this FY is only 5%. 2.5-3 years of working experience as programmer. RM4.3k. I'm at the bottom of the pecking order when compared to my graduate batch. This post has been edited by NowLat.yet: May 10 2017, 12:42 AM |
