That's why never take the salary information in this thread so serious. Yes some might be providing real salary but always take it as pinch of salt.
And don't bother your salary with other individual with different field. First of all, different field, the salary definitely have difference; supply demand of the workforce, etc. Only compare yourself with another individual with same/similar field. |

QUOTE(Emilly94 @ Jun 19 2017, 03:44 PM) I am from a Nursing profession. Please, anyone guides me about the nursing career and job structure in Malaysia. staff nurse? good luck to u then1. 2.2k is the starting salary for new join (consider quite high as many others offering less than 2k) 2. manager level 5k, but 10 year plus exp to get promotion 3.long working hours, if next shift haven't arrives u need to cover, report must be ready before handover (but some hospital have their own hospital system now so may be easier to handle reporting part) 4. stupid duty roster by stupid people, night shift today and morning shift after tomorrow.... wtf? conclusion : private nurse earn more than staff nurse depending on location, but safety is another issues.... |

QUOTE(Nzdpower @ Jun 20 2017, 11:36 AM) I am new zealand permanent resident and worked there for 3 years before moving to KL. One reason I was able to move here was because I managed to secure a long term client over there, and have enough commercial projects under my belt already that getting new clients isn't as hard anymore. Being in this industry, working from overseas is the same process because all communication is done by email anyway, (plus I was already working between cities in NZ). So my salary is in new zealand dollars, which is about 3.05x malaysian ringgit, thats why it seems large for KL standard. Obviously, getting residency in two countries isn't very easy (and esp. in one of the better economies), but that is my major advantage. this is so awesome bro. you're the same age as me but working in nz & got PR there some more. actually i tried to do the same. i got whv and came to nz on october last year, but got no job offers until visa expired last month although got several interviews including with InterCity. i bet they dont please with my broken engrish. now i'm at malaysia, going to sg soon to save money again and improve my skills and try my luck again after 1 year or so. very appreciate if u can share lobang or tips. cheers |

The bulk of my work is based in NZ, but it includes survey/mapping apps & websites. You are so awesome !I am expanding into mapping using drones for the next 24 months. My main technology stack is mostly AWS lambda, dynamoDB, etc, and xcode (moving into xamarin or equivalent), and your typical html/js for web. The drone tech and computer vision is in C and C# etc |

QUOTE(Nzdpower @ Jun 21 2017, 04:06 AM) I got pr there around 2002 , back then the government still had positive immigration incentives, now its a bit harder. Now they are looking for people with certain skills i know right? i heard it was easier at least 5 years ago, no need job offer to apply for skilled migrant visa. recent years is the toughest with the higher points requirement plus election is coming up this year. lol too bad i ady have girlfriend. btw i work in IT so it is in the skill shortage list. thanks anyway, heres the link http://skillshortages.immigration.govt.nz/ Which you can try apply for. Other ways is to find a girlfriend there with residency already or company to sponsor you, both not easy. |
