Preferably there will be another exit directly connect to NKVE instead of DASH. DASH is good only for those working at KL but not PJ. Anyway, I hope DASH can also relief the traffic jam in future.

for ppl from puncak perdana... DASH is a hope to go PJ directly faster than using NKVE... from penchala to KL is an expensive option if you also need to use DASH... but not sure on the rate yet la haha...

DASH is faster way to go to PJ Utara only. I believe not PJ Old Town, PJ State or PJ South area. I am happy if DASH is faster to reach PJ State area. It could be expansive for paying toll as it is elevated.

I guess more importantly can the highway disperse some traffic flow to reduce the current single highway (nkve) that is centrally being used to everywhere

But I don't think there will be any new highway near soon, we just have to take on the increasing traffic until the government think it's necessary to improve logistic accessibility or public transport to setia alam

Don't put so much hope on public transport even SP Setia lost to Thai Ground as LRT3 route to i-city instead of Setia Alam and Klang Sentral which is so called transportation hub of Klang...LOL. Probably it will be under LRT4 or LRT5 project and by the time I already 7 feet underground.

The short teem solutions:
1) Building another exit joining to NKVE. Reserved jungle land behind Setia Eco Park could be consideration.
2) upgrade to 3 lanes the the road section from SA toll to the first ramp.
3) enlarge NKVE from Bkt Jelutung section all the way to Klang Toll.
3) restricting heavy trucks to use entire NKVE during peak hours. Right now only restriction started from Bkt Jelutung instead of Klang.

Yea I too don't get it why setia Alam is not in the lrt pipelibe

Definitely agreeing the widening the highway. The lorry restrictions should come with stricter enforcement. In fact I think redesigning or reallocating the interchange at jelutong and elite is crucial as that part is also a serious bottleneck

well... I think DASH will only be access by those at the north side of setia alam? it seems quite a hassle for the south side to go all the way to Puncak perdana right?

public transportation is one thing... but Msian never really fully utilize it... despite the morning LRT are full.... roads are still jam everywhere... its just not comprehensive enough to lure the usual drivers to take public transport....

Easing the traffic definitely not in SA area as SA still has no LRT. Some areas really can feel different a bit with lesser cars.
