Hi, is there any quota limited for this new package? I heard vip used to have 60gb quota. I am in dilemma to choose streamyx or unifi. Tq.

Any idea which model? Technically speaking the specs on paper for the D-Link router is enough to support even 30mbps but many users just can't get it on theirs. Hopefully TM checks and test their equipments to ensure it fully supports what they are going to offer first.

Already expected when TM started to give upgrade to certain users earlier and now more users are getting it, so it is the standard. biggrin.gif

so far there is no official statement yet from unifi regarding this upload speed increase, dont u think its quite weird they give u free upgrade speed without cost increase ? i mean the official speed already stated there when u upgraded, and if they increase the speed for free, its not giving them any benefits lol laugh.gif

Well, most of the 50Mbps users were from VIP20 and who are used to getting 20Mbps upload speed. Imagine both 50Mbps and 30Mbps are getting the same upload speed of 10Mbps? Of course, need to upgrade for 50Mbps as well.

Their infrastructure is already ready in giving 10Mbps and 20Mbps, just the matter they want to give or not.

Anyway, they made a good move since I came from VIP10 which was very used to 10Mbps upload speed. laugh.gif

yeah, same as me. last time VIP10 rm179( w/o gst) then upgrade to unifi30 with same price.
slower upload speed actually didnt effect me much, just that my torrent seed always limit at 5mbps tongue.gif
and my friends that streaming at their home from my server at my home, said so far they didnt have any issue with 5mbps, mybe those smaller bitrate , if fullHD and higher bitrate, mybe lagging already.

still waiting for unifi to upgrade my upload speed to 10mbps sweat.gif
