If I registered correctly the ground floor of Merrydale 8C and 8D are 12ft. For Mellowood, my records are consistent with yours.

Finally managed to view the CD, consists of detailed floor plans and building materials
U only get to view the house model u bought for, ie mine is 8c

Clay bricks everywhere, toilets walls fully tiled up, timber floors not laminated ones, tile floors on verandah n car porch...

1 thing surprised me though...seems that there is a study area before entering master bedroom, and the room itself is elevated with 2 steps up !!

The other thing is seems that the toilets are well placed in terms of fengshui that u aren't entering your home with he washroom directly above u! Well thought EW design !!

really, i was told laminated timber flooring for upstairs, what kind of timber is provided if according to the CD ?

For DSTH, 11-12 ft high is the best looking and it's better not more than 12".

Width of the house is very important, same goes with layout, ex if the house is only 20x70, if the compartment ( ex. kitchen, bedroom, hall ) is long shape rather than square, the house would be looks very small with 12" ceiling heights.

11-12 ft would be ideal, can buy any shape of fancy fancy ceiling fan, would not be too low and not too high. Can do better or more boxy plaster ceiling for designs.
As long as not below than 10" like medium end condo, then ok dy.

3.6m is 11.8" ft, thats very nice enough.

Upon actual house, after the beam and ceiling, it would left around 11.2 - 11.4" ft, just nice to looks good and not much extra costs or works on reno.

Tq for sharing. I forgot my Cradleton dy. lol.

I am not sure for mellowood conventional type, but for home park type there will be 30-40ft backlane garden, not sure if it is apply for conventional type.
And for merrydale regardless with gate or not u can still remain the gate as open to park for cars, lol. And bear in mind merrydale is fully extended, how about mellowood conventional ?

That's my thought which I shared earlier too. Merrydale may cannibalise the sale of Mellowood conventional type (7A and 7B) given that Merrydale has quite appealing features. I don't have much info about 7A and 7B yet. But have they started selling 7A and 7B? I think they will / shall open 7A and 7B for sale only when Merrydale is (almost) fully sold.

Hmm... if I'm not mistaken there were about 60 biji left in Merrydale early last month, any better now? If for Mellowood you are interested only on the conventional type, then you should seriously considered Merrydale too. Btw, why not Parkhomes (7C or 7D)?
