Guys, wan ask a Noob question here..Is it true that even the specs are the same for different type of LCDs, it has different feeling?? let's say same contrast like 1000:1 and same refresh rate like 5ms..just different brand.. Wanted to buy LCD soon but having a big mess here as i not sure which model and brand to get..Dell 19" seems to be expensive rm50 than LG 17"..yet Likom can say also very very cheap...and cheapest is Viewsonic...which 1 shall I choose?? Help Help!!! I used dell, the only problem i faced was the screen too bright at times. I need to reduce the gamma, brightness and contrast to my liking. But brighter LCD is better than dimmer ones. You can always reduce it later. As for getting a gaming LCD make sure that the monitor support no less than 5ms response rate. All LCD has its own native resolution, if you're getting 19" LCD, make sure that your PC is up to the task to display its native resolution (mine 1280*1024). To use less than its native resolution will just resulting in pixel stretching. This post has been edited by HiVanTech: Sep 20 2007, 03:07 PM

I was thinking of dell as the price are very cheap in All IT Hypermarket in Lowyat...the old GC i'm using is ATI 9250...this GC can support this resolution??
