I want to ask, usually for office use only, everything on document, no video of course. Normal 19" or wide screen 19" suitable/better?

document??? if ur using lots of spreadsheet....trust me widescreen helps. ALOT!

but if ur gonna be opening 2 documents at the same time and making comparisons, dual screens helps even more. im using dual screens in the office and i make lots of comparisons and also spreadsheet like documents (SPSS data etc).

but if u ask me to choose between wide and non wide....my vote goes to wide.

Not much on comparison, so don't need dual screen.
The LCD is for my dad's secretary.
What time of document, everything about Insurance thingy.

Why use soap? Why not use soft cloth like those to clean spectacle 1?

19/17inch 4:3 has more pixels than at 16:10 wide... go for the cheap 22 inch 1680x1050

or the special screen cleaner with very mild evaporating solvent that come in a sealed dispenser

hey guys, trying to get some recommendations here.

planning to get a LCD for my Xbox 360 and probably upcoming PS3. now, I've narrowed down the choices to:

BenQ FP94VW, the one with HDMI

or

Samsung 226BW/BenQ equivalent.

my question is, should I up my budget and go for the 22" over the 19"? I would go for the 226BW, but the HDMI input for the PS3 is tempting..

no, there are no 22" HDMI monitors in the market right now.

if i get the 22", I will have to use a HDMI-->DVI converter to hook up a PS3, and VGA for Xbox360.

Hi guys, I plan to get a normal non-wide LCD screen sometime ... but don't have much knowledge about this tongue.gif Hope to get some guidance here ...

1) Biggest non-wide LCD is 19" only ? Coz i see 22" oni got widescreen and 20" is like alot more expensive than 19" ...

2) What's the popular brands used by lyn people for normal LCD ?

3) What specs should i look for when buying LCD ? Resolution ? contrast rate ? refresh rate ?

Thnx ! smile.gif
