guys....
can i ask here?

my company is looking to replace our age old CRT monitor
and we have 2 models in the list...
which is better?

17" Samsung LCD 732N
19" DELL Widescreen FlatPanel S198WFP

and the price is almost the same since Dell is offfering a rebate for it so after rebate almost the same...

of course the boss wanted the 17" but i figure if the 19" is at the same cost as the 17" one.. might get the 19"... smile.gif bigger is better smile.gif)

this basically for office use.

any thought guys?

thanks guys

kuman

p/s: dunno if this might relate to the performance of the LCD.. the PC uses P4 3.0GHz + 512MB Ram... just to add only.. biggrin.gif
p/s2: and all using build in Display adapter... (no Graphic card) biggrin.gif

i think panel type are a very important aspect depending on your usage, if for example you use it primarily for gaming, then TN panel is ok, if for design or usage where color accuracy is important, then S-IPS/ P-MVA etc.....

RM500 for 17" is enough, just go lyp and shop around, take a look for yourself and see which model you like the most....it's for your own eyes in the end of the day...

It's a good lcd but overpriced I feel. You're paying a premium for the design. I'd rather spend the same amount on a 22" wide screen lcd.
