Lcd needs to set on its native resolution, others than that surely not as sharp.

umm, i have no such problem
did you check back with the distributor?
if it's still under warranty, perhaps can change or repair?

What is your resolution setting.

And LCD is not recommend to use ClearType (as internet explorer offer one) since it distorts page setting mean that not real native resolution.

hai...1280 is too small haha...anyway i play around with the refresh rate and when i set lower Hz...something like 60Hz, the text is more sharper...now i set at 75Hz...its more bit not sharp...

but 75Hz is the best for the eyes...no choice haiizzz

what do u mean by small? small icon? by setting ur display to 1280x1024, u'll get larger desktop space, sharper text.
set it at 1024*768 will made ur display a bit kembang, dont u notice that?

am using 1280 x 1024, 60 hertz refresh rate
i don't feel comfortable looking at the monitor on 75 hertz, hence i changed it to 60 hertz, instead
by the way, what's ClearType la?

I'm currently using a samsung 226bw. I noticed there is some kind of weird smell at the back of my LCD at the ventilation area. It has some kind of mild burnt smell like those of a CRT television. But when i touch the LCD, it isn't hot at all. Is that to be expected as my notebook's LCD doesn't have that ventilation?

Dust burning? Shouldn't be, 1st the LCD is new and the it isn't hot enough to burn dust.

As of the 225bw pricing i'm not sure sorry smile.gif
