No additional charge last time, but not sure about now, I think it is still free, if they charge you then you can try to assemble it yourself at home if you know how to assemble all the parts, you can learn from YouTube if you don't know how to do it.

Well I wouldn't risk that haha. But anyhow, thx for the recommendation

That's 2GB vs 4GB, of course the 4GB one is better and will have advantage when the game uses more than 2GB VRAM.

thanks for the reply, newbie here sweat.gif

Damn that its actually a great idea. Thx.

One more question, the etech u talked about, do they help me assemble all the stuff together or do I need to do it myself

QUOTE(albert611 @ Feb 19 2016, 01:48 PM)
Any charges?
*
Hehe I am currently using etech to build 2x PC now (not yet confirm hardware yet still deciding on parts.)
recomeded by terence_nwb too cheers bro, they are very cheap and lots of stock better then buying Pre-built PC.
respond can be slow sometimes. i think they are very busy.
unfortunaly i dont think they stock any sandisk ssd.

They built for free if buy whole PC, and they even install free Ori Win 10, not sure how they do that, and even install simple software and games.
cs:go, lol, dota2....

Postage to Taiping Rm20 each PC.

RM 209 Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB
RM 211 SanDisk X300 after voucher (apps only CNY28) RM183 !!
http://www.lazada.com.my/genuine-128gb-san...sd-1790261.html

I think I stay with Sandisk not because its cheaper after discount
but because i think they are more reputable and they make their own 1st tear chips, kingston buys chips from dont know whom.

terence_nwb what you think stay with Sandisk?
your friends have any issue with Sandisk SSD line?

For Windows OS license key, try to get OEM key to save money, around RM200+/-, or just get Windows 7 (even cheaper I think) and upgrade to Windows 10 for free. OEM key activation is permanently tied to the first activated mobo, so it is not transferable, if you think you will build another PC again and would like to reuse the key, please opt for retail key (more expensive).

Intel Core i3 6100 - RM 487
Gigabyte H110M-DS2 (D4) - RM 290
Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 200
Zotac GTX750Ti 1GB GDDR5 ZT-70702-10M - RM 499
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 215
Samsung DVD-RW SATA ODD - RM 62
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 189
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 180

Total: RM 2122 (Techview price inclusive of GST)

Add USB port? I think it should be enough, but if you want to use USB Hub extender then go ahead.

You listed only CS:GO and Dota 2 and both of them aren't hardware demanding so you can easily build an ITX rig under 3k with monitor included, if you plan to try other games like triple A titles then upgrade the CPU to i5 and GPU to GTX960/R9 380/GTX970 etc.

Intel Core i3 6100 - RM 485
Gigabyte H170N-WiFi - RM 569
Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 196
Zotac GTX750Ti 2GB GDDR5 ZT-70605-10M - RM 509
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD - RM 209
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 215
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188
CM Elite 110 - RM 159
BenQ GW2270 - RM 429

Total: RM 2959 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

Hi guys, wanna ask whether this spec is worth the penny
This rig mainly used for rendering software, i do know that it is waste of money to use non-k proc in Z series mobo
but is it worth if we use this mobo to increase the speed of the ram as the base speed for the ram will be limit to 2133mhz
sorry for any wrong informations here sweat.gif

Asus Z170M-Plus

Hi Guys

I have difficulties to choose which monitor suit me the best...

Below are my googling result for the monitor
1) AOC Monitor LED IPS 23' i2369VM
http://www.lelong.com.my/dell-monitor-led-...7-01-Sale-P.htm

2) DELL MONITOR LED IPS 23' S2316H
http://www.lelong.com.my/aoc-monitor-led-i...6-06-Sale-P.htm

Open to other better brands, model, experience and opinion.

My Spec
1) Budget - RM700 below
2) Purpose - Movies and gaming
3) Thin bazzel - optional
4) Response time 8ms below - my eye hard to see ghosting
5) prefer IPS
6) regular user, not die hard use g sync and etc...

Thank you

You can overclock a locked Skylake CPU with Z170 via BCLK overclocking (provided you install the correct BIOS), but due to BCLK overclocking, it will mess up the RAM frequency also, so meaning you won't get 2666MHz (likely to be slightly lesser than actual clock speed).

Going from 2133MHz to 2666MHz is not worth, you won't notice the real life difference, you will only see improvements if you benchmark it.

I recommend you to go at least 3000MHz if you really want to have high frequency memory.

The new NFS recommends a GTX970 or R9 290 for 1080p60 high settings, your budget can mostly fit a GTX960 (slight overbudget) or GTX950 (within budget) only, the system spec sheet says GTX750Ti can run at 1080p30 low settings, GTX950 is slightly stronger than GTX750Ti so I expect the frame rate will be around 45+.

Intel Core i5 6400 - RM 779
Gigabyte H110M-DS2 (D4) - RM 289
Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 196
Palit GTX950 2GB GDDR5 StormX - RM 699
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 215
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188
Bitfenix Nova - RM 149
BenQ GL2460 - RM 510

Total: RM 3025 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

If your editing workload is low and gaming is the first priority, you can consider downgrading the i5 to i3 or increase your budget to fit a GTX960 for better gaming experience.
