It seems like even more investors will set up their factories in techvalley after this. Saw few food industries such as daily bakery and a Yemeni daily products producer.

Malaysia Vision Valley project to be launched by first quarter 2017  rclxms.gif
http://www.thesundaily.my/news/2107474
“The project is likely to be launched by the prime minister by the first quarter of 2017. We have done the master concept plan and comprehensive development plan but the prime minister will announce the details,” said Sime Darby Property managing director Datuk Jauhari Hamidi.

Vision Valley is expected to generate investments of more than RM417.6 billion by 2045, and is expected to see greater traction with the recent signing of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail, which will have one of its stops there.

..the government will develop Malaysia Vision Valley with an initial investment of RM5 billion in 2016.

For your information: the total cumulative committed investments from 2006 to 2015 for Iskandar Malaysia stood at RM190.29 billion ( http://iskandarmalaysia.com.my/newsletter/...Feb%202016.pdf), you can imagine the size of MVV and potential of BSS rclxm9.gif

Iskandar's land area is 2,217 square km (547,832.60 acres ie 105 BSS) while MVV only has 108,000 hectare (266,873.12 acres ie 51 BSS), Iskandar is double in land size.

The target for Iskandar is to achieve RM383 billion over a 20-year period (2006-2025), RM19.15 billion per year.

MVV's target is to attarct RM417.6 billion by 2045 (2017-2045), RM14.4 billion per year.

If based on annual targeted investment amount MVV equal to 75% of Iskandar Malaysia, wonder how you derive 66% of Iskandar.

In fact be it 75% or 66% of Iskandar, MVV can bring enormous benefit to BSS rclxms.gif

Menteri Besar still needs to do a lot more on his land ler.. This number is still very small if compare to Nilai (if BSS wants to stay in competition with Nilai Impian which is located in much better strategic location - nearer to KL, KLIA and PLUS Toll). By the way, Nilai is in MVV as well.. brows.gif

Is there any companies above notorious for violating environment law?

What I understand State Govt is very strict on it, few companies with huge investment have been turned down because non-environment friendly.

Anyway Sendayan Techvalley still 4 to 5km away from the residential area, the furthest distance required by Malaysia government for highly hazardous industry is only 1km from residential area.

Both Nilai & BSS is part of MVV, they can complement with other biggrin.gif

Sendayan Techvalley in hot demand out of 638.9 acres net saleable land, only 85.8 acres is available as of 30/9/2016 while Sendayan Tech Park with 123 acres net saleable land is still pending DOE approval.

mine are just a rough calculation, yours are more accurate...but i dont believe it can achieve 75% of iskandar

with 50% size of land, no way MVV can achieve 75% of investment compared to iskandar since Iskandar are far far more superior based on its condition

Nilai seems like benefit the most if MVV realized one day?

Proponents of Malaysia Vision Valley say the venture will not adopt the "build and they will come" approach that the Malaysian government adopted for Iskandar and Dr Mahathir's ICT corridor venture.

"The approach this time will be to let things develop more organically and leverage on what is already existing," says a senior town planner who has attended several close-door briefings on the project.

It helps that the project is close to Kuala Lumpur's international airport and the country's major ports and has good transport links. In the coming years, it will also have a station for the proposed high-speed rail link between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, according to several government officials and private-sector executives.

Proponents say the development will be led by one main developer, Sime Darby, which also ranks as one of the country's top property developers. This contrasts with Iskandar, which attracted numerous real-estate companies that flooded the market with dozens of mixed projects, causing an oversupply.

..

The Klang Valley is home to more than a quarter of Malaysia's 28.3 million people and generates over 40 per cent of the country's annual gross domestic product.

But years of concentrated development have stretched the region's infrastructure.

"The (Malaysia) Vision Valley project is very much a natural progression to the region's development. It is a no-brainer," says the Sime Darby executive.

Good.. I think in terms of location, amenities, infra, HSR, MVV, Nilai also holds a greater potential compare to BSS. Entry price I believe is about the same if compare between BSS and Nilai Impian?

Nonetheless, it shall depends on one's investment appetite, no right or wrong though.

Bro, HSR Labu very far from Nilai Impian lah, some 15km away whereas BSS about 5km.

Nilai Impian has 5 star club house?

Location, amenities, infrastructure wise BSS also not bad, anyway don't want to talk down on other project just because I vested in BSS in fact I vested in Semenyih too.
