I think yes, no more 5/10/20, because the price is almost the same for 10mbps with 30 mbps, while 20mbps same price with 50mbps.

QUOTE(jusbella @ Oct 12 2015, 11:53 AM) Interesting, it will be a challenge. Many of my friends, still rather stay on ADSL, cause FTTH needs new cabling and potential hacking of walls (not to look so ugly with cables running along the wall). It will be good to see TM enforcing this. Even in US, dial up is still widely being used. (google AOL main revenue income, it tells about dial up contributing a larger portion of income). |

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Oct 11 2015, 08:08 PM) -No more branding Streamyx So no more 20Mbps and above for high rise ? as they're VDSL -All start with UniFi from 1 Mbps till 50Mbps.Will have their own variants.100Mbps maybe next year. -FTTH will start from 30Mbps.No more 5/10/20 after this for FTTH -VDSL and ADSL will cater 20Mbps and below -Don’t expect pricing cut but more on values add in. |

So I just received my email and got confirmation that I have been upgraded to 50Mbps.
Any good router to suggest that can allow me to get maximum speed? My computer is about 3 meters away from the router. My current router (RT-12) allow up to 25Mbps only. |

Would you be able to let us know why RT 12 despite being rated for 300Mbps bandwidth, cannot cope up with 50Mbps? After reading from previous few posts I already know my router is limited to maximum 30Mbps only (even before I upgrade). You can take a look at the list I compiled. http://www.blacktubi.com/unifi/unifi-repla...nt-router-list/ Just want to know. |
