30mbps rm 179 valid for 24 month..after that normal price rm199.

By that time probably got100Mbps plans already.

Yesterday at almost end of the day around 5pm, I had went to a TM Point at Bayan Baru to ask about this new promotion. The staff that had entertained me doesn't even aware about the RM179 promotion and was thought that is only for online registration. I guess I was the first person to ask them about this promotion. She had took some time to verify it. She had helped me to register it at later time because the server was down when I was there. Now waiting for Monday for the installation

I believe there were some miscommunication even amongst their staff™. Most employees are not aware about this new promotion. Of course they can't be told earlier to avoid information leakage. Even the customer service might not aware about it and just responded as what they had done before this(which is contract is a contract).
There should be another group of staff that going to settle with all existing early birds(the real early birds) to inform about the discount. This will take some time.

Of course make sure you submit the complaint to make sure they really call you back.

i also had this problem over 100 yesterday, the girl told me 30mb is not available for penang yet

so i'm guessing majority of the tm staff simply isn't being brief on what's going on

i filed a complaint on CFM earlier this morning, just now received a call from TM regarding the complaint. They agreed to let me upgrade to Unifi Advanced 50 at the promotion price. So basically VIP20 RM249 to RM229 for Unifi Advanced 50. Just need to go to TM Point and upgrade manually, if TM Point argues, then he personally will talk to them and elaborate. TM do f*** up this time around regarding their own products.

I was wondering can I do it for current VIP20 RM229 to Unifi 50? If they only allow higher price upgrades only.

i just upgraded from vip20 to unifi30 one month ago at price of rm199. does that mean i can also argue and ask for rm179 promotional price?

30mb coverage is different than normal unifi speed?because as for now I have 10mb

different i tell u.. once u got 30mbps u never turning back..

Yes different technology.

VIP5-20 use Symmetric Technology

Unifi Advance 30-50 use Asymmetric Technolgy.

Its better to have Symmetric rather than Asymmetric I'm on VIP20, luckily I sign up before its gone

Yesterday i lodged a complain to SKMM (MCMC) because the CLEVER TMNUT doesn't provide us the true early bird with the promotional price. Today, TMNUT people called me and allowing me to get the promotional price. Just that have to go to the nearest tmpoint to upgrade. The person in charged will ask which tmpoint you wish to go and will personally contact that particular tmpoint for the rebate that we are SUPPOSED to get.

So, people out there. Stop sitting still. VOICE OUT THE COMPLAIN. These tmnut company will act as if they are supposed to suck extra RM20 from you, if u just sit still and paying them!

TM is smart lor, Test Launch is called UniFi30, Official Launch is called UniFi Advance30. They just tell you different package/name different pricing.

In short, it will affected upload/download speed, while Symmetric will not affected in both way.
