they can ship up to 500 kg and 500 cm for the sum of package dimensions (yours is 55+60+60=175)

i shipped a server chassis back in may, 90x60x20 cm, 30 kg. the shipping cost was rmb 392, and it took 20 days to arrive.

Depends. on your luck. Sometimes your parcel can be stuck for days or week at one stage until you started a big escalation.

Usually I will brute force all the possible range of tracking numbers to check if all the parcels in the same batch have the same status. If the rest of the parcels are moving, I will provide screenshot to the customer service and request for explanation.

Recently, my parcel cleared custom a week ago , but there was no movement despite multiple follow ups, and different parties are playing ball game with each other. So, I made report in Malaysian custom asking for explanation why they kept my parcel (because the delivery company claimed so). They really did go and investigate and police report was made because such claims are being made.

At the same time, I am firm with Taobao CS say that if I did not get my parcel by next day EOD, I will treat the parcel as lost and request for 2x the parcel value. They said OK. After the authorities are involved, my parcel suddenly appear in GDEX tracking website and in out of delivery status.

1. Really can claim 2x value purchased?
I really hate they refund what amount we paid only because after so much time wasted plus the voucher we used may not the same if we repurchase again.

2. What action did the police taken? I thought police don't bother and maybe ask us to deal with platform get compensation?

I know cannot, but since they said "OK" over the phone, I recorded it down and use it against them if the promise is not fulfilled. Turn out that I received my parcel just in time before EOD

I not sure what actions or magic are taken by the police, or if police reports are being made. Customs just said that this is serious allegations where they will conduct investigation and make police report. What I know is my escalation made my parcel with no status update for 1 week direct appear in my front door the next evening.



I always wonder, why normal follow up will not resolve the issue and escalation is always needed to keep things moving.

I didn't make report. I just send email to custom department questioning why they "kept" my parcel because logistics company said so, ask me to chase customs or use the SISPA complain feature in

Looks like you r more impatient than me haha. Just 1 day..give it another 2 days if no movement only start complain to cs. Mine stuck 6 days already and the cs kept renew their 48 hours response. But everyday they will keep update...dont know is automated msg or what

Haha, because i try the brute force the tracking number, and found out certain tracking that arrived same time as me already send to the recipient by today

Actually no, but you can bite them if you want to if your English literacy is very high. But I do think we really need to be firm and strong otherwise they will think we are easily to be bullied

Till today no movement after custom clearance. Cs only know how to say they are checking and keep delaying. This is first time i buy from taobao.

I think its already pass the estimated date and u can request for refund right, also yours it seems also under gdex. Same like that fella that email custom about the issue
