Around 2 weeks plus standard for boxku. Not sure about Taobao own direct sea shipping so can't compare.

Hi, I would like to know if it is normal for taobao direct air shipping to be heavily congested during 11.11 sales? My parcel is currently stuck in the airport and haven't goes through custom clearance for depature since Monday. It is unusual because it is usually cleared and departed on the same day from my past experience. Anyone is facing the same problem?

normal la. alot of transactions on 11.11

I guess 11.11 can be quite particularly slow. So far my parcel reach on 15/11 and completed custom clearance on the 16/11, not a single update ever since which leave me to assume that the local courier hasn't pick it up from the custom yet.

hi i would like to buy some clothes from taobao, weight prolly >10kg, i have found a freight forwarder from china to malaysia, which is probably rm14/kg, is taobao direct shipping cheaper and safer in as compared to non-taobao freight forwarder? i will be using air freight

it depends who is the non taobao freight forwarder, for me i have been using gohappytt service for 8 years; for personal and company purchase. so far so good. All his price is listed properly in excel for you to view (like a quotation) before you place order with him. i wont say he is the cheapest, but the reason i support him because of his service, its really good; besides place order, communication with seller, any mishap from seller, he will inform you, do the cancellation and refund for you. All i can say he is a trustworthy seller.

u buy and pay ur own item on taobao urself and ship it through his service or u just let him know what u want aand he will buy and ship for u?

this. you provide the title, link, which option and qty, he give you a quotation and estimate weight. After make payment and provide shipping details, then he will proceed. If weight is lesser, he will refund when send out from china, if more then just top up to him to proceed the shipping. he will earn 10% of your total purchase amount (example your purchase is Rm100 after convert to RM, 10% would be RM10, total RM110 + shipping charges), which i feel its fair enough for his effort.

item above 10kgs or bulky items he would recommend sea freight. but still it's better communicate with him to confirm.

not really... you can consider western union for fund transfer at their rate. or you can consider open an account with Alipay. i heard tng can top up alipay but i never try before myself.

usually I just key in the tracking number in general tracking website like tracking dot my. once it reached malaysia and handed to local courier, there should be a tracking update. in my case, usually it's either Gdex or ABX.

hi all, i'm looking to buy an used server case, less than 1k rmb but it's quite bulky and heavy 30kg+/-. it will be shippied via sea. will it be held by custom? if yes, taoba direct shipping will help on this or we have to deal with it ourselves? or should i buy it thru forwarder and perchaps they can help? thanks.
