Thanks. How much would be tax? Would value over that be automatically tax or depends on luck?
yes depends on luck.
going through "scam" local couriers like DHL, TnT, USPS, UPS...etc...will get yourself taxed....
I bought tablets before...that cost > $500, and did not get taxed...
so depends on luck.
The tax is based of the item type.
you can try this as a reference...not sure if it's the latest.
https://mysst.customs.gov.my/assets/documen...Goods_07.09.pdfhttps://mysst.customs.gov.my/assets/document/General%20Guides/V4.0%20Guide%20On%20Sales%20Tax%20Rates%20%20for%20Various%20Goods_07.09.pdf
find you item, and check if you get 5% and 10%.
I remember it was 5% of the differences, or minimum (whichever more), and 10% additional after if applicable.
If I got 42.02 Bag, that applies 10%...and if they wanna tahan the bag , you produce the receipt purchase+shipping to be total = $550, you pay $50x10% = $5 on top of that. But they have some min...like..$5.
Not really exactly sure.
If you go through stupid courier from the above, they will CHARGE additional services and delivery unknown charges that will bulked to $25-50.
