Taobao consolidated sea shipping bout 17kg (volumetric)

Same speed as last time

But anyhow the goods are not really protected. So some of the steel racks have dents have to knock back, patah a bit need epoxy to glue. But the glass stuffs the seller already put in box with polystyrene so it is safe. Electrical items also is boxed and have polystyrene so it is safe.

Looks like for sea shipping it really depends on how the first seller pack the items, also the items at the edge of the bag is usually the ones dented. The items inside is okay protected by other stuffs.

My first experience using consolidated sea shipping.

I usually use consolidated air for smaller packages (<3kg) but this time my order was about 12kg altogether so I decided to try out sea shipping (cause it was cheaper haha)

Local courier was Citylink - it was quite hard at the beginning to track the parcel but other than that it went well smile.gif

How did you guys get sea shipment tracking number ? My taobao apps show 10 digit number only. I try to track at ABX and DEX-I website but both show record no found.

Edited: Found my parcel already, now with BEST Express they're new COMONE Express agent at KK Sabah.

Some small advice for you who are new to taobao . Sea shipping count by volume or whichever weight is higher . Means if your actual item weight is 400gram but your volumetric weight is 1.5kg , it’ll be counted as 1.5kg . The volumetric weight is count by how big the wrapping plastic is . WxLxH/6000 = your volumetric weight . So if you’re buying a smaller item go for air shipping . It’s not worth to have sea shipping if you bought smaller and lighter Item such as clothes , shoe etc . I weight all of my item with the plastic bag on it it’s only around 3kg but end up the volumetric weight is 9kg .

anything above RM$500 gets taxed....matter of whether you get what % tax on top of the goods classification is...

btw...$500 is inclusive of shipping too....NETT...not separate...
