Did my first order with TGDS, and just received it today. surprisingly it was fast and without issue

let's say i'm buying a computer case, i know the package weight and dimension

a) If i choose for consolidated cargo, how do i estimate roughly the cost is? is the price below is what it is?or i have to calculate the weight price by myself?
b) will the forwarder clear all the customs? can i assume that most of the time items will be delivered without customs issues (assuming no dangerous goods)

i've paid for some items, but unfortunately, some had to be cancelled by seller due to no stock

Comparing TGDS and Consolidated

there's no way compare consolidated vs TGDS shipping fee right? until the items have reached warehouse, and consolidation price will be shown

So, it's more of a gamble (+ some logic) that, perhaps TGDS could be cheaper than consolidated?

eh taobao layout changed already? no more option for TGDS?

ok tried purchase, lazada forwarder..stated there GST 6%?

just received my package from their revamp taobao website.
Chose lazada (air) - experience that highly it would pass kastam without issue since it's under lazada and DTFZ system

items sent on sunday from China, today received.
rate was 29y , if it was to be old system it would be 39y
guess it saved me 10y

eh weird, is it just me or the 'old' format of TGDS shipping is back?

I did buy some huge lepin sets last year.tat was through tgds. I asked the seller to repackage the items into a box n throw away original packing. Maybe they do not allow shipping for this big items now.

Anyone has experience with sea shipping? How long does it take?

i have some issues with LEX sea shipping (parts in china warehouse) how do i go around contacting them by chat?

eh, was having thoughts why my parcel was slow. So, the default direct global shipping is sea (Y26)? no wonder, i thought it's air ..

damn, my parcel since 20/12/18 haven't arrive since today..

before the official changed to the only official transporter, i assumed it was air shipment. turns out to be sea, but even then..almost 4 weeks

after about a month without update, i chatted with CS. turns out that the part didnt even make it the warehouse.
chatted with the seller, and refused a refund. So escalated to TB system and right away they side me and issue refund. pheww

dumb me..havent bought for some months..noticed now direct shipping rates up alot? for eg, 1 item weightage used to be Y26, now 35.50-50??
option for sea shipment now , small parcel 0-3kg = Y29.9 flat rate?

anyone tried buying folding bicycle before?
is it taxable or the forwarder takes care of everything?

Desktop packaging size 207*9*87 weight about 35 kg
Table foot 61*16*72 weight about 12 kg

How do I know if cainiao will charge me which rate? <0.3cbm or > 0.3cbm?

Let's say Im buying a cabinet that has 2 boxes

总重是60公斤，包裹1：1310*460*170mm，包裹2：950*495*200mm

Is the dimension cbm calculated seperately and add up? Or the biggest dimension is used as total ( 1310 X 495 X 370)?

The rmb210 rate is assumed if it's below 0.3cbm, meaning we can consolidate as many big parcel, as long as below 0.3cbm??
