Hi guys, I’m using sea shipping from Taobao. is it normal that local courier hasn’t pick up the package for about one week?

Looks like it’s quite normal for packaging didn’t get pick up by any courier service for long period.

I have been checking multiple courier site daily but no luck as well.

Mine is approaching 10 days mark now since custom clearance. Hopefully tomorrow would have some update, don’t mind to pick it up myself.

this fucking taobao is so annoying i use consolidated shipping cause i bought 2 item now the one item is cancelled the item i ordered is on hold and waiting for the other item wtf man i already cancelled the item and why my item is on hold at warehouse really dont understand how do i pay for my shipping fees and get it shipped

I think the refund procedure is different for the canceling an order before the seller post out the item,
and the item arrived and being kept in the warehouse.

Anyone has good sea shipping service to suggest? Service that allows us to ship to the specific warehouse, and they will later inform.

I saw like we post is charging 28 RM for first 3 kg and 2.50 for subsequent KG which is quite cheap. Anyone tried this before?

  i just used their service 1 week ago.. i also found out late about the bad reviews... Now i can only hope my items wont go missing. I see some customers get their items on time...

in their ToS, they even mention that they can remove any reviews however they want, so if bad reviews confirm remove one hahahahha.. they only leave behind all the good reviews.

actually other shipping companies also mention "wont refund in full" in their ToS. I wonder how other companies deal with lost shipments?

Just received my Taobao sea shipping. In total only 13 days! I saw a few guys here that had their sea shipping departed the port earlier than mine, but mine moved a lot faster (read below on why).


The details of my shipping. It's a large 60 kg (said so by seller but it seems to be a lot heavier) custom welded metal table that fits just below the 0.5 cbm limit. So, I paid only RMB355 for shipping.


I didn't pay any taxes on Taobao product checkout or consolidation checkout. Courier that sent the package locally is not the regular ABX, GDEX, Skynet but this:


The courier guy came alone without any trolley to carry down. We carried the load together. Nice guy compared to the regular brand.

So, I think if your item is huge, it gets delivered by these smaller logistic company. When I saw the tracking status getting cleared custom so fast and picked up so fast, I knew it wouldn't be ABX!
Definitely recommended Taobao sea shipping for big items but not so for small items.

Edit: before the courier guy left, he said "ABX memang slow and banyak orang komplain".

Can't compare like that. Commercial rate (or bulk rate) and consumer rate is very different.
