QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Dec 14 2010, 02:22 PM) Do you think I should buy one Seoul City Tour Bus for 1day usage at 15000won. http://www.seoulcitypass.com/jsp/citypass/citypass_eng.jsp [COLOR=green] Thanks for your reply.I will start from Myeondong Station and stop at the following station only - Hanpjeong Hongik University Ewha Women University Then back to Myeondong check out and leaving to airport. Where to purchase this seoul city tour bus 1day pass? No U should buy just Seoul City Tour Bus (SCTB) for 9000w only if you print the discount voucher from KTO. It stop at 20+ hot spots every 30min punctually. Why pay extra 6,000w for the extra city pass ? To purchase SCTB ticket, just hop into the bus. How do you communicate with the bus driver to ensure he remind us where to stop at? They can speak lil English?? Eg.. “ Chungmuro Station, Pls call me” & Must sit close to the driver. They will understand?? There is a head phone and LCD panel in front of every seat to explain every stop in language you selected. Tentatively my itinerary on 09th Jan start from Namsan Guest House at 5pm. 1) Namsan Seoul Tower – By Cable car or Walk to Chungmuro Station, Take Bus No.2. 2) Cheongyecheon Stream & Gwanghwamun Square - (Walking distance 20min from CS to Myeongdong or shall I take subway? 3) Myeongdong – Dinner @ Kyoja Restaurant ( Myeongdong to Namdaemun is 10min walking distance) 4) Namdaemun Plan to take cab from Namsan Seoul Tower to Cheongyecheon Stream & Gwanghwamun Square. Any comment? But I’m afraid the weather allow us go evening time, it’s freezing cool!!!! The SCTB brings you to the door step of all 4 places mentioned above. Save the cable car and cab money for diner, the tour bus drives you up the Nansam hill and drop u at Gwanghwamun for Cheonggyecheon Stream. You can also walk from Cheongyecheon stream second bridge (turn right at Gwanggyo bridge) to Myeongdong and Namdaemun. The SCT bus circulation start from Gwanghwamun. Can i hop into the bus from Myeongdong Station? |

QUOTE(joey_liong22 @ Dec 13 2010, 11:28 AM) I signed up ground arrangement with local tour agent in KL and extend one night in Seoul and will be staying at Namsan Guest House 2. I think there are less cheap shoe shops in myeongdong...saw i feel selling genuine ones...I saw some cheap ones at dongdaemun shoe market, its across the Cheongechyeon from doota and cerestar, in a small alley with both sides full with shoe stalls. Saw some girl's boots for just 10,000won over there. =)...can bargain abit too.Questions :- 5)I wanted to buy boots? Myeongdong or Dongdaemum will be more variety and which will be cheaper? For those who plan to travel by themselves can sign in KTO's website and book the free shuttle to a few places in Korea such as Jeonju, Gyeongju, Yongpyong, Busan etc. I took the free shuttle to Jeonju and Yongpyong, the bus took us straight to the entrance of the resort...and most of the palaces and temples provide free english guides. If ur traveling with a companion, its a guide for 2 persons, so its kinda awkward because when my gf and i visited the palaces, there is a private explaining everything for just the 2 of us. It's free!! Here's the link http://www.visitseoul.net/en/statics.do?_m...3001004004&p=04 I'm sorry if this has been posted before, just sharing.hehe...cheers |

QUOTE(Battle-Hardened @ Dec 16 2010, 09:08 AM) Hi folks You should get the balance refunded at GS25 convenience store while in Korea and just sell the card half price at RM3.50 each here. Now that the problem is, your buyer has no way to verify the actual card balance as claimed by you. Anybody here interested in buying T-Money cards? I got 4 pieces, each with KRW11,000 plus credit available. Asking for RM50 each. PM if interested. I suggest you revise your price to RM100 for 4 pieces ( if indeed each card have 11,000w) and get rid of it as soon as possible before it gets expired. |

@sfwong1
We're inside a bar. So cozy mah. But yes, alco would bring down your body temp eventually because it opens up the pores for perspiration. We had Soju at the sidewalk stall one night, then after that all felt much more colder where the temp is already at -5C. Here is some Nami Island shot. For those who don't know; it's where Winter Sonata is shot: ![]() I love this shot at Gyeongbokgung - http://www.royalpalace.go.kr/html/eng/main/sitemap.jsp ![]() ![]() |
