it depends how u define cheap. maybe u got 'derma' then everything is cheap. lol

btw im using ducky zero, cheapest of all ducky's. am not dissapointed.
was eyeing filco but it lacks media keys.

Ya, filco do not have dedicated media keys built in.
Many keyboards don't have it also.
But don't worry, we got autohotkeys software to enable it in your PC. nod.gif

Wow, I didn't know a mechanical keyboard club for LYN existed until today laugh.gif

Hello sifus tongue.gif

I've been searching around for keycaps of this colour scheme for my CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i for awhile now.

I managed to find a seller on aliexpress selling exactly what I want, but it costs well over RM200 (60USD). I've tried searching elsewhere such as ebay as well.

I was hoping that I could find a cheaper price elsewhere, and I stumbled upon this thread smile.gif

Hopefully you guys know a thing or two about it and can help me out.. notworthy.gif

I see.. Thanks for your reply smile.gif I've read that it's manufactured by Taihao?

Also, I've never purchased from taobao before but last I heard you gotta go through an agent to purchase stuff?

edit: I think I've found one http://world.taobao.com/item/45134955830.h...0.BbcVOS#detail

TS can help you source it from taobao. but for your information, the one you linked is made by Tai-Hao and its OEM profile, not Cherry profile. wink.gif

Just get from taobao.
There should be no problem buying from them IMO.

My current keyboard's stock keycap height is OEM profile and I'm alright with it.

Is there any supposed ergonomic benefits to cherry profile? Maybe I'm missing out on something laugh.gif

I see.. Then mind if I ask, why is cherry profile generally preferred?

You've bought things from taobao before?

I found this guide here. I'll probably just get the item from taobao myself using this guide but I'm not sure if this guide is 100% legit

Also, how's the process like? As in after the item reaches Malaysia, what happens next? In the guide it mentions 'parcel forwarding' or something rclxub.gif

There was a groupbuy for the taihao keycaps and we bought it from taobao.

cloud8992 is the one that handled it though.

Cherry profile always better to type on. Lowered caps make it easier to type and also much more ergonomically easier to control the striking angle.

Exception for that is SA profile because the profile is high on a consistent basis. And pretty. And thick.
