I just get myself a cherry blue swtich armaggeddon mka-3. i understand this brand is singapore brand aka sonicgear. May I know does this keyboard different with those like corsair?
*
i think the greatest advantage that the Armaggeddon Black Hornet MKA-3 has over a Corsair K70 is that the MKA-3 uses a standard layout so that you can easily get high quality keysets to replace the stock keycaps. both are using different type of design, Corsair uses exposed switch-top kind of design (where you can see the switch-top from the side) whereas the Armaggeddon the common concealed switch design.

What are the different between them and the advantage and disadvantage
*
using example of Nerd TKL and Winkeyless B.87:
Nerd's Pros:
easier to use keymapping interface
USD60 include soldering of controller

WKL's Pros:
individual lit bottom RGB
USD52 for soldering of controler / USD72 for soldering of controller & bottom RGB
cheaper acrylic cases

Whats the problem asking in here? It is still a mechanical keyboard. LOL
*
because you might get more value/interest from the Gaming Keyboard thread as the Corsair series are targetting the gaming community. no harm asking here though... cool2.gif

Hi guys,

Need opinion.

Between Filco keyboard and Ducky keyboard, which one you guys prefer?

Currently interested on Ducky Shine 5 RGB..
*
my personal preference would be Ducky because they are using cherry stabilizers that's easier to change keycaps instead of costar stabilizers.

QUOTE(-Hzu- @ Oct 13 2015, 06:16 PM)
Lol yea. Great service from HeavyArm but I've learned to accept this fate and consider myself lucky because now the keyboard is even more rare. ;p I can't imagine how they missed one LED during production.
*
never own one before but can't you DIY the LED on the Enter key?

razer blackwidow chroma to compliment my mamba chroma biggrin.gif but that's a bit pricey
*
what is your purpose? if you type a lot then you might want to get a proper typing keyboard like Filco/Ducky/Poker so that you can change out the stock keycaps when the legends start to fade, also better compatibility. if your main purpose of getting a mechanical keyboard is for the bling2 then you should get backlit keyboards like Ducky/Razer/Logitech/Corsair/E-element/Royal Kludge/etc...

ya around that price if u dont want to solder anything else other than switches.

jom la. more people can get discount if i email him
not sure how much, but b.mini got sale i think. around 30% cheaper
*
i just checked, the ones on sale are all out of stock now. the v2 PCB are different from v1 that the bottom RGB leds are all soldered, whereas v1 only have the first row soldered and you have to solder the second row yourself.

does anyone know which 65% mkb's have frosted acrylic housings? (like those from winkeyless b.87)

so far what I've found are 22Mini and Red Scarf, but they look to be clear transparent housings instead of frosted.
anyone has any experience with Apollo's Keyboard Workshop?
*
Redscarf are frosted acrylic, not clear la..

Hello, anyone knows where I can find some O-Rings locally?

I'm looking to put some on my KBP V60 with the Cherry MX Green switches. What's the thickest rings that can be used with the stock keycaps? 3.0mm?
*
i do have some extra ones if you want to collect them from me personally. i don't recommend getting those 3mm ones because they change the typing feeling too much

so it is, but it doesn't look as nice when compared to the frosted acrylic of a winkeyless.

i think the difference are from the RGB leds rather than the case itself

You mean from the brightness of the leds?
*
I think so... Moreover the ones on winkeyless (with the latest firmware) can be controlled individually this achieving the rainbow effect. Whereas the RSiii are not individually lit, you can only pick one color at a time
