Hi there thanks for reply.. Yeah typo
.hahaha.how is ducky zero? How much did you bought? It's full sized right?
*
it's my first board, so i cant really compare to others.
but i like this board as it has dedicated volume button as i listen to music a lot so easy for me to vol up/down. most of kb need to use FN+volume keys.
other than that i cant really comment. but satisfied with my purchase.

bought it for 260 promotion from topmaid computer at lowyat plaza.

Wow.. Do they have promotion Now at lowyat? I'm looking for backlight one.. Is there one?
*
is their shop whos making the promo. others dont know. n that shop close till tomolo. friday open i think so.
btw mine was not backlit, not into backlit much.

btw w ur budget 300-400 sure can get backlit one.
just see the mice, keyboards, controller garage sales. then u can get the idea what type of kb ppl selling out there.
owh one more i opt for ducky as it has OEM key layout(not sure if the right word, masters pls correct me), filco too but no dedicated media keys at all.
razer has small win key, while corsair got shorter/longer(dont remember) spacebar. but everyone will have their own preferences.

i feel that too. feels good on gaming, but kinda heavy for typing.
hence dislike it. just personal preference thou.

but ive read sumwhere once, blue not very good for double-clicking compared to green.

You don't want heavy switches for gaming since you need the keys to register as fast as possible, except if you play games that can't have you mis-tap a button. But lol, if you like it, it's fine but you'll definitely feel tired in a short period of time.

Hell, I do everything on greens. They feel the best, but the actuation point is too high for the kind of games that I play (rhythm games like BMS).
*
thanx for ur feedback. so gaming on blues will tired faster than green?

green is heavier than blue.

btw this just to inquire.

this green mx that you are saying, is it from razer?
*
yes, razer greens.
dunno kailh or cherry. nvr really check.
ive read some got cherry some got kailh.

honestly, im new and just own one kb.
but ive bought a set of keys mixed colour from a guy in this forum to decide which switch to buy. and finally decided on blue coz of the clicks.
and that key set really help me a lot on deciding.

all in all, im a newbie asking whether there are other clicky keys than mx/kailh/outemu/gateron blues and greens.
i like it coz it kinda tells me the key has been press. i cant even feels the tactile bump on the brown. dunno my hand very rough or what? hahaha. and also maybe i never really try all bumpy switches yet. might be one out there that i'll like. and so far been using it only in my room. so dont care how loud click oso. not like some who need to care about roommates/officemates and such.

razer green is not mx green. mx green = heavy switch. razer switches = light switch.

just get blue switches. mx/gateron/kailh does not matter at this point as u are new in this.
*
so by this u saying, mx green is not raze green,
and razer green is lighter than mx green?

so how to compare razer green to mx blue? still mx blue lighter?

mx green is the one of the heaviest clicky switch from the cherry.
you can check them here, quite informative and the table makes it easier to see.
https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX

razer green feels softer than mx blue to me. just slightly.
*
thanx for this. really helpful smile.gif

Razer Green is basically (a clone of) MX Blue. A slightly lighter, maybe but I think also lower actuation point since it's mainly for gaming. I believe there's also Razer Orange switch.

There had been a debate as to whether Razer actually contributed in making those switches or simply rebranded them, which I found very interesting. There are a few articles cited about the history and making of Razer switches, I wish I could find them again so you could know the difference more accurately.
*
so most of the blackwidows is razer greens ayte? still like the blues more.
maybe my finger oso not that strong? ahahaha

yea, i think i saw that post somewhere (might be fb) but just read halfway thru. im so in love w the blues. whistling.gif

Honestly, I don't think it's any lighter, just shorter. Pick whatever you're comfortable with and pray to God you won't have to koyak your wallet anymore.

Also, a good read:
http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/official...-keyboard-guide
*
shorter as in higher/faster actuation? so it will register faster than blue?
sorry but sometime im just lazy to read long explaination on the net as it's like reading the same thing over and over with a few plus/minus points. huhu

but that link u gave me oso helps me a lot.
that is one of the few links i bookmarks if wanting any info.
thanx smile.gif

Ya, filco do not have dedicated media keys built in.
Many keyboards don't have it also.
But don't worry, we got autohotkeys software to enable it in your PC.  nod.gif
*
never use that. thanx for the info.
will google more about the software. when i think of using it. hewhew whistling.gif
