For Citi Cash Back Card, do I need to swipe the card at the petrol kiosk to get the 5% cash rebate? What if i swipe inside at the counter? Will I be entitled to the cash rebate?

I have used that cashback platinum card for more than 5 years, I recall every year also can waived. There was one year I called 2-3 times to get it done as first time the CSR says no such offer... But seems like last 2 years you just call in and be directed to their self service to key in your CC to get waiver. They will notify via SMS whether success or not.

Not sure about the features for petrol, but I do noticed that there is a cap of 3000 rewards points cap each month. Maybe you exceeded? Maybe call CS to clarify
