For the Citi Cashback Credit Card Annual Fee it says that it can be waived after 3X swipe but is it only for 1st year or for the whole duration of Credit Card ownership?

1st year only.

Subsequent years will be on bank discretion.

Hi guys, not sure if this question has been asked before, but did anyone manage to get 100% annual fee waiver for Citibank Clear Card?

I call and request but only got offered 50% waiver.

For Citi Cash Back Card, do I need to swipe the card at the petrol kiosk to get the 5% cash rebate? What if i swipe inside at the counter? Will I be entitled to the cash rebate?

mind sharing your spending on the card for the past 1 year?

mind is due next month, kinda want to cancel it and not having to ask for waiver...

Try to call again, I think it is dependent on the customer service. Some if more lenient while other is more strict.

I have used that cashback platinum card for more than 5 years, I recall every year also can waived. There was one year I called 2-3 times to get it done as first time the CSR says no such offer... doh.gif doh.gif

But seems like last 2 years you just call in and be directed to their self service to key in your CC to get waiver. They will notify via SMS whether success or not.

oic..noted. to b honest, my cashback would never b enuf to cover the annual fees. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif so i guess i better monitor closely and then cancel it after 6-7 months.

Not sure about the features for petrol, but I do noticed that there is a cap of 3000 rewards points cap each month. Maybe you exceeded?hmm.gif Maybe call CS to clarify
