Can anyone confirm that Citi Cashback Plat Annual Fee can be waived for the first year with 3X Swipes? and how's the cancellation process can I cancel it after 1 year of usage?
*
my new application, the CS told me first year (12 months) is waived with 3 swipe any amount.

I applied on Feb'15.

I planning to use this as a interim card. Use about a year then change to different card.

Not necessarily. I recalled back in 2011, I was on my first job after graduated and Citibank was my very first CC.

Anyhow, it really depends to the bank discretion I think.
*
It was told to me by the CS. When I applied Citi cc, my income is few times above the requirements. No any loan either. But they reject my application. Then they give me this reason. After I use other cc for one year and reapply , Citi approved both of cc application with the same salary. I think it applies to most people, and may be yours are exceptional case

Hate those card below signature level with no AF waiver. What I will do is cancel those card and only stick with those card with waiver. Most bank give waiverr especially spending RM 3k per month. So far only citibank and UOB try to be funny with me. Cancel without hesitation.

Is the high credit limit given to a credit card is good?

If u really need to spend so much, then it is good to have high credit limit.

Otherwise, it will have fault case with higher amount if lost th card.
Also, it will reflect in criss and ctos? No sure high credit limit is good to build credit rating?
